Very comfortable shoes! So these are not the stiffest shoes, but slightly more relaxed shoes for hiking, but they are also suitable for everyday use, e.g. in the wet or in winter. If something needs to be mentioned, the standard soles are a bit slippery and require a bit of wear to start holding.

I have only worn the hiking boots once but we’re quite comfortable and offered great ankle support.

The booties are ok, the length of the stem is enough to protect the ankle and it's reasonably light to walk. The downsides are slippery straps that loosen when walking and slippery soles in winter weather.
Edit: After 3 months of use, water gets into Molenpi's shoes. First it started leaking from the edges of the insole near the heel. And now just standing in the rain gets your socks soaking wet even without stepping in a puddle, so it seems to leak from the flap as well. No further.

These shoes are a model that I have been wearing for about 13 years on a daily basis, whether in town or in the mountains, for their comfort of use. They last on average 2 years each time with my usual walking pace (between 4 and 10km per day in brisk walking). The last pair suffered faster breakdown with peeling off at the lateral edges of the ball of the foot, near the toes. No loss of waterproofness for the moment (no wet feet in the rain. Nevertheless, I put them to the test this summer with a month of more pronounced use (about 30km per day in the mountains with downhill running phases therefore greater bending stresses.) We will see what this new pair does.

Absolutely great shoes for light hiking and forest walks. I have been wearing Lowan Renegade shoes since 2004. I have exhausted many pairs, but a good product is worth favoring. There are well over 35,000 km of experience with Renegade shoes and I have found it good. Let me clarify, that number of kilometers has required another pair. If only the last fit your feet, give it a try!

The rating is based on perhaps more than ten years of use of the same shoes (make & model). Great shoes for my own foot, I can't come up with a negative thing to say, well, the soles are slippery in the winter, at least the pair I once bought, I don't know if they have the same sole (you can fix this by buying Snowline's excellent anti-slip). It may be that the slippage only came to light when the soles were really worn. Due to the quality of the shoes, the first shoes I bought online. I walked the shoes as far as I could because they were so comfortable to walk on and because it was hard to find shoes that fit my own foot. So far that the soles wore in part to the structures they broke, but the shoemaker was still able to semi-lay the shoes, which provided escort care for about a couple of years.

Suitable wide last. Work well on forest trails and even on the street. I bought other similar shoes when the first ones started to leak from the tip to the edges of the bead after a year and a half. The two-year warranty worked and I got new ones to replace it. Good! Now there are separate shoes for the forest trail and the coolest city walk.

Am very happy with my new pair of Lowa boots!

These are now others alike. At least I haven’t found similar ones myself that would be as good for a walk. Strong enough, and still does not lock the ankle, like some B / C class similar. These don't seem to be of any kind ... Nice soft sole pattern, or I probably mean sole material. Holds quite well even if walking on ice. Self-occupied from fall to summer and daily. And when that is the case. Above all, the shoe should be good to walk normally and in everyday life. Also tried work shoes in the past, they are not cheap in the end either, as some run out after just one winter of use. Still in use for more than 10 years. actual hiking boots. I imagine these to be just as good, even though the first ones settled at the head from the outside edge. Obviously a mistake, that is, through it, one cannot condemn these. And so I bought similar ones again right away. I just couldn’t find better ones, even if there was a place for reflection at that point. That is, these are themselves in daily use. If any reproach should be said, so many pieces have been made. Then know if the designer thought that way it would work better? Or cost savings? And also a little suspected that the insole is polyurethane. So I'm thinking about sustainability. But it only eventually adapts to your own foot. And plastic is forever :) So buy away. Lorenz Wagner has once again designed good shoes. I think there are no other similar ones. And these seem to be some classics. Even a difficult person has time to experience a lot of experiences in his lifetime. Good shoes when they last quite a long time ...

A disappointing boot. Great service as usual. 1. the size is significantly smaller than other European boots like my Meindl and Hanwag, so these boots cannot be walked in. I can only just stand in them. I don’t understand how an EU size in Lowa is almost one size smaller than Meindl. I measured the internal length, and it is 6mm less than the same size in Meindl/Hanwag. 2. I am surprised so many people rate Renegade so highly, because the quality is very average compared to both Meindl and Hanwag. Sure, the price is lower, but not much lower than the cheapest Meindl, and the mid sole is far less comfortable than other manufacturers. Maybe the original Lowa were better quality and better sizing, but the boots from the current factory are very disappointing.

This is the second pair of Lowa Renegades I have purchased from Varuste. I wear them every day Outstanding boots for Australian conditions. Took them out of the box and wore them hunting for 10 days. Very comfortable. Good traction. Quiet. Easy to put on and take off. Best boots I have worn.

I bought others because they are comfortable to wear and very light. Does not rub and feels comfortable right away. Star out of quality because made of pieces of leather, so you get to prepare for the shoemaker to start when the knitwear comes off after a few years of tight use. The price is reasonable compared to the quality of Suolanen when lightness and quality do not go hand in hand.
