I have collected this product a couple of times, but it's a great "rag"... It weighs significantly less than a light blanket, has a much more durable material than a light blanket and packs into a MUCH smaller space than a light blanket (tarpaulin). I've only just got around to using this in the winter as a rug, as its name suggests, when sleeping on a porch, in which case I spread this as a small rug on the ground, so that at least the feet have a dry place to remove shoes/boots and put them on the bench before putting them back on.

I didn’t know I needed this, but now use it all the time. As a mini tarp, groundcloth, dry floor while changing clothes, mat for the dog, protecting bags from the rain etc.

Good for a bunch of things from sitting on the ground, using it as a comfort place for your dog or protecting your inflatable mattress.

A good addition for a trip, as a base for the apse or as a seat for resting, or as additional insulation from moisture under the tent. One minus is that the package is really infuriatingly shaped, a cramped tube, where sometimes the button strength was not enough to push the fabric back.

I get two pieces, one under the independent and one under the front of the tent. Lightweight, compact, but looks like a good material like other DD fabrics. Insulates heat and moisture surprisingly well. The XL size in the name may not tell you what size the rug really is, a big bath towel is a good metaphor.

A real magic rug worthy of its name. Fits in many ways from basic to more creative solutions. The ability to hold wind and water was also tested by 2 rabbit boys, who decided during the night to modate a comfortable accommodation for themselves from the magic carpet I wrapped to protect my backpack.

I got the meanwhile MSR Hubba Huba terrace as a canopy. I sometimes spend longer periods of time in one place in a tent and missed a little more space for rainy days. Sturdy material and really packs into a small package.
For my own use, it would have been perfect if the other long side had an attachment point in the middle like in the corners but a cone tied to a fabric drives the thing just fine.
