Preliminary assessment: I think the Osprey backpacks are good, so this one, although very little experience (5km / 15kg load). The weight vs. volume of the bag is good.

High quality market. Lightweight in size. Good adjustments. This price should include decent rain cover, but it should be sought and purchased separately. Osprey own is not the sustainability of the acclaimed, Savottaan I'm leaning. There is one in the family already.

Not much has been used yet, but the first experiences are good. Comfortable on the back and the goods are well accessible through many zipper openings. One minus star for plastic parts like a rimpula. You’d think this size class backpack has decent locks and tensioners but no. I was already in touch with Osprey to see if I could get spare locks and tensioners for a longer trip. I contacted Ospreyeurope.com and sent spare clamps for free

There is space and there seems to be a strong act for even larger loads. The storage space of the drinking bottle is cleverly implemented, the fastening buckle is only damn tight if there is more stuff in the backpack. There could be more external anchor points for CDs.

Great backpack! I didn't find anything really reprehensible here.

For a few years, I had time to change the backpack from a tubular frame back to a rosna. This summer, Savotta was left in the second warehouse in 50 warehouses and an L-size Xenith with a capacity of 109 liters had to be acquired. Stunning carrier. Feels confusingly comfortable and light to carry, even with a heavy load (approx. 29 kg). The free tube goes nicely into the side pocket, the tent arches and wedges to the other side. The tent, kettle, food and clothes fit nicely in a backpack bag that can be divided into two parts with the help of a midsole. Pikkusälä runs nicely in a two-part cover. It’s hard to come up with anything bad to say about this product.

Been in use for half a year (Xenith 105), and anything you want to take (and a little extra) can fit in. The weight has been + 20kg, and thanks to good adjustment possibilities, the weight is not felt anywhere. The lower compartment can accommodate a sleeping pad, tent, sleeping bag and backpack rain cover. The filling of the beverage compartment is well designed so that it is possible without opening and emptying the backpack, as in Fjellu backpacks, for example, where its place is inside. Thermoplastic hip pads work as they should. Lots of pockets and openings to access the contents, so you don’t always have to open the whole backpack, and that’s a good thing. And for rods and others, there are good places ready. And this, when empty, weighs much less than many other backpacks. So I am very satisfied.

Really good backpack. There are many pluses, but also some disadvantages, which, however, depend mainly on personal preferences and habits. There was nothing really bad to say about this. Has been in use for less than a year, has served during this period from one-night fishing trips to more than a week for a trip to Lapland, and during winter trips during light snow. Served very well on each trip. Would I recommend? Yes, if you are looking for a reliable, versatile and comfortable backpack. Pros: + light. Such a light one big backpack is hard to find. It doesn't hurt to take an "oversized" backpack for a shorter trip, which means that lightness also brings versatility to use. + backpack tightening options. The whole package is comfortable and sturdy to carry even in short, can not get loose. + materials and work mark. Lightness really doesn’t feel during use in materials. At first, it might seem "plastic" and weak, but so far it has withstood moderately raw handling without any problems. Also don’t shy away from 20 degree frosts. + low modularity. The backpack flap can be left at home if it is not needed. The closure of the main bag is an "extra" flap that can be closed with clips. This is a designed feature, in the Yankee version the flap can obviously be included as a daypack. + carrier. Really comfortable to carry even with heavy loads in challenging terrain. +25 kg doesn't feel bad even when hiking in beloved terrain. Good adjustment possibilities, and does not loosen during use. Once you adjust to the condition, you no longer have to rattle. + the location of the drinking bladder outside the main pocket, ie the bladder can be accessed without opening the entire backpack. On the downside, the bladder is really hard to put in your pocket if the backpack is packed full. Also, the clip that closes the bladder pocket is sometimes a little hard to put on. + beaver tail pocket. Very spacious, easily accommodates up to 25 series Trangia and on top of it a break jacket. + pockets and external attachment options. If something doesn’t make this giant fit inside, then it also makes it hang outside. There’s enough sturdy lanyards and thongs, but not bothersome. Cons: - the zippers on the side leading to the main compartment are a bit awkward to operate to your liking. For the time being, I think I would rather leave it out altogether. - the flap adjustment straps on the back are placed inside the backpack, ie the flap must be opened to tighten it. Hard to get the proper tension and overpacking under the flap is a bit challenging. On the other hand, there are fewer straps hanging outside the backpack. - no rain cover. The backpack itself can withstand drizzle, but by default the backpack in this size class will also see rainy days. The same manufacturer's own Ultralight rain cover cannot be recommended, on its own use on the first trip the rain cover received an average of one hole per day of use. The rain cover is also really tight if the backpack is full. - the above-mentioned possibility to carry a backpack flap as a daypack / belt bag has been omitted from the euro version. Behind Rapakko, apparently, the standard feature in question. on the carrier. However, quite a few competitors have this opportunity. - price. A reasonably priced device, and the price doesn't even include rain cover. On the other hand, it is still cheaper than many competitors and gets good value for money.
