Really nice and well-made folding knife. Good size and rock solid. It is light enough to carry in your pocket, and robust enough to benefit from it in all possible situations and for many different tasks. The quality is impeccable. It is sharp and easy to operate - open and close with one hand. Something has been done about the design of both the blade and the housing/handle. This means that the knife lies well in the hand and there is good coherence and balance. It is a knife that you want to have with you all the time, and that you look forward to every time you pull it out. It stands out from many other knives, and thus makes itself usable in a completely different way. You don't have to be in any doubt here!

Incredibly good quality of the knife. The AXIS mechanism is incredibly easy to use and I love to sit and play with it when I think about safe until my wife comes and tells me to stop :) I have used it a little and have not noticed that it has lost any of its sharpness.

Very pretty medium sized knife. The purple backspacer looks great agains the dark green aluminum. The finish on the aluminum is nice and grippy. It came out of the box almost perfectly centered, it is off by a tiny bit. I find the pocket clip a bit large for the size of the blade, and it is too bad that it is not a deep carry pocket clip. I have small hands, and for me the ergonomics of this knife are quite good. If you plan on heavily (ab)using your pocket knife, I don't think this will be the right Benchmade for you. For a slim medium use knife I can recommend this. For heavy use I would go for the Freek.
