There is little doubt about the flexural strength of a thin rather hard material, but so far have withstood normal use. I switched from SA luha to these when I wanted to protect the boiler coating. Perhaps the worst camping gear ever made. These trips have not endured any trips intact, they go over with me and my wife even with the soup.
Not recommended in any case.
