Easy to use and light!
I have now used the rods for 50 km. There is almost 1000 km of hiking ahead. For this trip, they are an excellent investment: they fold into 3 parts conveniently and are ready to use in a few seconds, the rods are incredibly light. Really good purchase.
They are convenient and easy to take with you on a trip.
Convenient, easy to use.
Light and convenient poles for trail running and hiking. Relatively easy to assemble and put in a bundle as long as you realize the mechanism. There could be more room for adjustment in the arm loops.
Lightweight and functional. No possibility to adjust the length for ascent / descent, but I don't think it's a big minus.
Tested during a week of hiking in Tenerife. Very light both in use and when carried - I use the rods myself mainly when landing to provide support and save the knees, and these are easy to carry with you in your hand or tied in a backpack. The mechanism works cleverly, the rods can be used quickly and back short. Velcro straps were included to keep the bundle in the pile, but by clicking the hole in the soma onto the top tube, the sticks will stay in the bundle well enough. It’s hard to say anything about durability yet, but the mechanism seems reliable and the structure has the ability to adjust. The tip can apparently only be changed using pliers, which seems a bit awkward.
All the best sticks! Lightweight, folds into a really small one, but still sturdy.
Quick to stack and light to carry. The "hand strap" might be a little weird meaning it could be more sturdy.
Light as which! Goes into a small space, and goes well with the running backpack. The adjustable strap may not be the best, but it works.
Fairly sturdy and light walking sticks. Fold into a small space, eg in the side pocket of the backpack. A little more flexibility on the shaft and in the seam than on one-piece ones, but OK for a long hike.
Tying the sticks together would need a good idea to leave out the loose Velcro strips.
Rubber pads wear out fairly quickly, spare should be extra as standard.
Fits well in the hand and the lock works well.
The poles work really well on the first hike. Their lightness is excellent.
