Incredibly good for moving in the snow and for immersive conditions on ice. I myself am an active ice skater and I have to move a lot on the ice during the winter. I can't help but recommend these to everyone for moving in nature and on ice! The bandages are really sturdy and easy to use. It has many adjustment features and fits any kind of shoe. I personally use a lot of sliding snowshoes with the ice Eva boot, which is quite large. These shoes also go well with bandages!

Tried it in the forest, in the field and on ice, in the forest there were small problems with the load capacity, but the snow was really soft in places and there was a lot of snow, otherwise they have worked very well for what they are intended for. The bindings are sometimes a little loose, especially in the forest where they rub against the branches and others, otherwise these worked fine.

After a couple of months and various trips, I still can't think of anything bad to say. They are wonderful tools for moving in the forest and fells. With these skis, you can have fun almost anywhere. Only with an icy wind they are not in their element, but I already knew that when I bought it and I didn't expect anything else. They feel high-quality and still make you sigh with delight at their appearance. I wish us many trips together!

Based on one trial, good with a soft feel. With a hard-surfaced grip and a track sole, you're slippery laterally. My winter boots fit the bindings well and it was easy to attach the bindings to the skis. A bit of a downside is that adjusting the more permanent length of the strap at the back of the bindings (i.e. on the other side than the quick adjustment) is difficult, because the counter part of the screw starts rotating when you try to open the screw. At least I needed the pliers and a friend to hold the counter part of the screw in order to open the screw. The counterpart should be better attached to the bandage itself.

The XCD's are asier to control downhill than the WAP, but it's a much more difficult to go uphill with XCD. The WAP has a lot more traction.

A great purchase. The ties are super easy to install and adjust, although a drill was needed. The ski is excellent and at its best the skis are in powder and slightly sinking snow, it is also possible to travel with soft sled tracks. Not the lightest, but not heavy either. The first choice in the backcountry. Warm recommendation.

Very slippery sole. The carrying capacity is quite enough for a skier of 80 kg + backpack. Only the tip of the ski could be a little more vertical, when skiing deep in a closed wind, you can get caught on bent branches etc. and have to pack away. Maybe a more upright tip would lift the ski better. The ratchet handle sounds like it's opening when falling, now the foot gets caught in the ski when diving headfirst into the project, it's hard to get out of a deep wind when the shoes are tightly attached to the skis.

The skis are good, exactly as expected.
The bindings, on the other hand, have a tendency to open, as does the strap over the ankle. This happened on several occasions when I was skiing in heavy snow and the skis went through the heavy snow. I think the crowd pushes the binding lock and then the binding comes loose.

The message from the sender of the skis to me, "your purchase didn't go to the forest, I hope you do". I have been in the field many times and I am satisfied with my purchase.
EA2.0 bindings can be easily installed and adjusted on shoes. The tip strap into the groove and the tip piece closed with a screw. Ankle strap for adjustment groove and adjustment to fit the shoe.
Skiing can also be done very well with rubber boots.
I have skied in approx. 40cm deep soft snow, which is only present at the moment. The tip easily rises to the surface of the hang. The length of the ski is suitable for the forest and for crossing ditches.
Quality-feeling skis with steel rims.
Successful purchase.

Skis (“snow slides”) and bindings work exactly as I had thought. They are at their best on “new” snow and at a slow pace, e.g. The hair was kept very even and the bandages were easy to tighten and loosen.
The actual “baptism of fire” is from March 26 to April 10, 2022 in Ukk Park, a 15-day mountain hike, where mainly snowmobile maintenance trails go, but also from places that the snowmobile has not gone to. We hope for a lot of stocks. The crossings and descents of the fell can only be seen in reality.
Great FINNISH quality! Currently muted about Finnish knowledge / art!

Functional and light sliding snowshoes, suitable for both varying forest terrain and more flat terrain such as a lake. I like the climbs on the hill. They work on soft snow and in closed conditions, but they are very slippery, for example when a snowmobile is left in the forest (at least from late spring when the trail is a bit hard). These are not skis, you have to remember that. Side slides because the bottom is flat. On the ice of the lake, where the hankie is watery but strong, the hankie works great. I haven't had time to test downhill terrain yet, but with that in mind, I bought it when a rental company recommended this ski.

I got to try one Kera once, the closed project worked perfectly well even in dense clumps, better than a normal forest ski, the skiing feature is not nearly as good as a normal ski,
If you have back problems like me, it is really difficult to attach the ties to the shoes,

All-around good sliding snowshoes, more skiable than the shorter versions. In the soft, sinking snow at the beginning of winter, the tip of the skis hit the hidden ruts delicately, but now that there is more snow and the snow's bearing capacity is better, it is easy to walk in the forest as well. I haven't been able to test these at Hankkel yet. Good improvements have been made to the bindings, although the binding opens a little harder than the binding of the previous model. It may be that after several uses, it starts to roll more easily even when open.

I bought these to replace the old 125cm Altai HOKs. When held in the hand, the skis seem to be of high quality. The ties may look a little cheap, but they work well. Now, after a few trips, I have somewhat mixed feelings about OACs.
+ Glides well
+ moderate carrying capacity in deep wind
+ ok to ski along the ready slope.
- in deep freezing snow, the grip slips
- climbing characteristics are weak compared to the Altai HOK, you have to go zigzagging or bumping even slightly steeper climbs
- sideways slide with a hard grip, the ski is difficult to control
- the tip of the ski is soft and quite stiff. The tip dives in uneven terrain and easily pokes through the tail into stumps and rocks

Absolutely great skis. Thanks to the narrower center, very controllable when going down hills compared to the KAR model. Really good grip thanks to the high-quality hair and a glide suitable for personal use. I do recommend the product 100% once I tried these, I didn't want to put any more on my feet

A good purchase and does correspond to the invested amount with certain limitations...
The product is at its best in the forests of Southern Finland and thick snow, where it is significantly more agile than long forest skis. Downright excellent for Ahkio's appeal. In the soft slopes of the south, the skiing features are sufficient. Last spring's experiences from the ski trip in the Käsivarre area are positive even in the northern conditions. The snow conditions varied from soft protective snow to a hard frozen surface. The over 80 km long haul went perfectly in hilly foothill type conditions with varying surface formations. The undercoat makes it possible to climb well by pulling the bag on a soft bottom. However, despite the steel covers and profile, the ski is not a downhill ski. On hard and icy mountain ridges, lateral grip is not enough for smooth skiing, the ski slips sideways and there are also challenges in steering the boot. Side worked flawlessly all the time, even though several types of footwear were used, starting with the felt boots of the Defense Forces. It has a solid feel and is easy to adjust even in icy snow conditions. The problem of the incompatibility of the toe of the felt boot and the profile of the binding was easily solved by lining small pieces from the front corners of the boot collar so that it corresponded in shape to the corners of the metal part of the binding.

Good skis in the right use. For me (+100kg) these weren't quite the best if there was a little more light snow in the forest, the carrying capacity just isn't enough. KAR 147 (gliding snowshoes) work better for me, even though I have different types of skis and the sliding/speed is worse. The skis are good and of high quality, as are the bindings, which are quick to use. Thick padding on the surface of the binding straps / between the shoes would have been good, in which case the small living of the shoe in the binding would have been minimized (and the resulting creaking would have disappeared).

Clever equipment not for the use of an athlete, at a leisurely pace. Easy, comfortable and light. Excellent for comfort zone chatter. Carry chubby only with a sling. The ties were laborious to install and the female force was not enough to turn the nut - hence the reduction.
Overall rating |
Intermediate model of ski and slipper. Overall better than the "basic" slippers, but not above the performance of the actual race. At its best with fresh but not submersible snow - then easy to control on falls and carries well. In the very soft snow, it sinks, even though the guy above pushes forward with forest skis without worries. Tolerable on an icy carrier, but maneuverability suffers. Glide not as good as in forest or mountain skis, but agility better. The advantage of being suitable for regular winter boots.

Really wet snow and slush are not suitable for these. Tested on spring lake ice. The real test will be left for the winter of 2022-23. Otherwise, I got to shoe in the backyard and it went well. Counting requires practice, having rarely been on the skis. The progress of the converter requires getting used to so it is not unnecessary for all places to be sore over the long haul.

Works well, and fun to ski. Faster and lighter to walk than snowshoes. The grip coat also works on a gentle counterweight. Only on a plain, for example in a field or flat forest, would a long forest ski be better than sliding shoes. But sliding shoes fit more easily in a car or warehouse.

Good "skis" for hiking or hiking in the vast forest terrain. Even with sturdy shoes, the powder can do the descent. Lowering and skiing on harder snow or padded ground is a bit awkward, the edges don’t provide enough support. Quick and easy installation of bandages, even without instructions.

I did like it! You can get to the forest directly from the yard with a large hangar. Well accessible to the hills, and coming down is fun. The bandage will come off the shoe well if it falls, so that the foot is not in a bad position. At its best in the woods, but also on ice, trails, etc. It is nice to ski.

I ordered two slippers. Some for myself and others for my adult son. We have both tested them and found them to work. This winter there is about 50 cm of snow and the snow is really immersive, so there is little stump. Getting around is really hard. However, at a few points the sliders carried really well after some dripping snow fell from the trees. We are both looking forward to a summer break with a little load-bearing layer in the snow.
In any case, at least until now, I have been pleased with the liquor shoes and the ties in them that have worked flawlessly.

Very comfortable and versatile skis, tested on flat ice and in fell conditions. Full grip uphill at a dead end, downhill the pace didn’t accelerate too hard. No lateral grip can be found, but it was already known at the time of purchase. The bandages were easy to install and adjust to fit the shoe.

In soft snow, it works just fine, with a 100 kg guy like this, you still can't manage to stay on the surface, but enough. In hard snow, for example in an open fell, does not work despite the steel decks, does not stay on the deck but stagnates. Nice tools in the right place.

The best shopping in a couple of years!
A great combination of snowshoe and net ski features. Load capacity quite good (180cm, 85kg), in a deep light hang it does sink and the going becomes heavy, smooth gliding with less snow.
---
The skiability of long forest skis is not achievable, but on the other hand they are much more agile.
---
Both glide and uphill grip (much depending on the quality of snow and weather) are slightly less than expected. There is no side grip on a very hard bottom, you can't ski properly, but of course you can move forward.
---
Easiest with a soft centimeter a few inches on a hard surface or with an already opened groove. The sled career also progresses well unless packed very hard.
Even a very hard-bottomed hiking shoe works, the elastic flexibility is probably in place in continuous Telemark positions.
Rods 15-25cm longer compared to hiking poles Recommended, min. 10cm with sompa. It can handle but immersed in deep fine snow, with a telescope good to compensate according to the conditions, I recommend it.
Good shopping, replaces most winter trips with snowshoes and forest skis. I recommend.

By far the best forest skis which I moved in the woods, either without specifying the details. There is experience of a few decades of different tunings. My assessment is based solely on moving in a closed forest, and I don’t take a position on skiing on other types of platforms.

The slippers / skis themselves are really good. Even in thick powder snow, there is enough strain even for over a hundred kilos, the hair base works and the slopes can be reached upwards nicely. Originally, there were slightly shorter KARs in sight, but the length of these has not really been a problem. Skiability may be even better. There have been little problems with the bindings when the length adjustment does not want to stay in place, but the heel starts to run backwards. It still takes a little research to find out why.

Quite impressed. More stable than normal x-country skis and can use them in deep snow without the need for tracks. Easy to put on and light. The skin under the boot works well going uphill. Downhill glides well, even with only a slight incline.

The ski works well in a closed hut where the humor starts to run out of humor, for example in driving hunting. Going on a plowed road is not a treat, but in terrain and in the field it is clearly a faster and easier way to move than a traditional snowshoe.
With cross-country skiing, the trip is over, but gliding on a leveler is not quite enough. Counting downhills brings a nice excitement while talking;)
The lower rubber bandage is a big minus! The rubber that is apparently meant to tighten the bandage against the shoe works just the opposite when snow / ice accumulates on it, pushing the heel backwards even so far that the shoe slips out of the front bandage (before the intelligence is what it is). Removal of ice in terrain -15 frost almost no place. It can indeed be locked with a cable tie, but the quick adjustment feature is then lost.

Very pleased with the items, but: ---If a 170 cm existed, I would have chosen them. ---The front part radius deserves to be somewhat sharper, the needle turns would be more confortable on steep slopes. ---I would have appreciated an pair of spare rubber springs in the delivery. It didn't brake yet, but it's much under tension... Apart from these details, I wish OAC company much success!! And will let friends try those skies and this way of enjoying winter sports around here!! Keep going!! All best!! M. A.

Good going games in the snow. The glide is not quite normal to the level of the skis, but it is not intended. Grip is Good! These aren’t at their best in a completely soft solid where no one has walked, but if old tracks go under the snow or if you get a strain even a little, then these are overdrives.

Great domestic. Lateral grip a bit bad if you have to go on a toboggan run, skating rink or other hard surface. The best in Hang. Falling ladies. The bandages are comfortable to use and work well, and are not affected by frost or snow. Nothing bad to say. The 160 model is the most suitable length (188cm) for your needs.

Funny tricks, now that the snow has not come from Malta to stay out of the field. The fifth star takes the bandages, that elastic band is just too loose, even when it bounces in the soft snow, it gives up and over time more and more snow accumulates between the toe and the bandage until the toe of the shoe drips off the bandage. There was still a feature in that when the snow got under the bandage, it eventually lifted the metal pins out of its hole and the heel also slid backwards until I secured it with a cable tie.

I apricoted for a long time between fell, forest skis and OAC XCD 160 and KAR 147. The OAC skis advanced and I set out to test both skis on the terrain, where I skied in a closed hut, in the fell and along the padded snowshoe / snowmobile toboggan. The XCD is slightly more creepy and more computable than the KAR. KAR might hold on to a dead end better. Perhaps. For me, skis come for hiking to climb the fells and dangers of Lapland along my own routes. Both skis are good for this purpose, and in the end I made the decision quite purely with emotion: the shape of the XCD and especially the visuality with the captured image enchanted me with the first touch. I am very happy with my choice.
The downside is that the bandages start to hold a squeak somewhere as the edge of the bandage rubs against the shoe. I received instructions from the OAC to fix this if / when the sound appears.

Fun going games! These go comfortably in deep snow, pulling the hull, than on a slightly harder snow base. The “ski” slides well forward and the skin gives a suitable grip. The bottom skin keeps up surprisingly well. I have a pretty narrow foot, so the EA bindings have to have a sturdy and wide shoe (So Sorelit went for the purchase and they got the bindings well adjusted). EA ties feel a bit “toys”, the frost resistance of plastic parts is a bit doubtful, now it was tested in about -23 frost without any problems. I recommend this set!

Tried in Savo in the forest landscape and in Kilpisjärvi in the fell. Immerse a little more than 225cm long forest skis. but the dead end can still go well. On the climbs you can go on a surprisingly steep hill with direct skis, of course the wonders cannot be reached with that climbing hair. Downhill also work well. the turns are already reminiscent of downhill skiing compared to previous cross-country skiing. The rising hairs, of course, slow down the pace a bit, but at least in the closed slip, they slipped almost like a forest ski. The bandages otherwise work well with 46 hiking boots, but collect a little ice behind the piece of the back of the bandage, which loosens the bandage a little and loosens a couple of times from the foot in the worst of all. The ice can be easily removed as long as the ski is removed from the foot. The bandages are easy to adjust and attach to the legs.
Good going games to a hilly solid get-off, with a hard toboggan run, of course, disappear to the fell / slopes, and on a flat slope, to the forest ski. I haven’t practiced snowshoeing, so I can’t compare it to that, but yes, going with these has to be called skiing, even though some people talk about slippers. Rods with a large solid socket are a must if you want to proceed reasonably in a dead end. I could imagine that thanks to the good grip, pulling the bucket would be great. with ahkio when on the downhill, however, one cannot enjoy the charm of speed.
Overall a good compromise. The ski was just the way I imagined. in the critique, the minus became the ice accumulation of the bandage and the resulting loosening of the bandage.

The XCD GT has more control than the WAP downhill, but it doesn't go uphill well.
I don’t know what kind of circumstances these would be good for. Unstable on hard surfaces and not skiable at all. In soft snow, on the other hand, the load capacity is not enough (80kg) and the passage is very slow and heavy in some places. An advertising phrase that is suitable for hilly terrain is not true, especially if the soft snow is over 20cm. The grip on the tops then disappears very quickly when there is not enough pressure on the rising hair in the middle of the ski as the tips of the ski begin to carry. On the downhills, on the other hand, the glide is completely non-existent, so that these can be used to lower the same hills that were painful to ascend. In relation to the price of the product and the annealing it receives, this has been one of the worst purchases of equipment.
