I put the pot on the fire and smoke the fish with alder pieces in it. I recommend a good pot for batch work.

A really good pot. Not so sure about the quality of the welds though. Handles or the locking mechanism might come off after some really heavy falls.

no complaints after a few trips, I haven't tried using soot. The hinged handle of the mechanism keeps the package tightly packed, does not rattle in the backpack. I wanted a steel one that wouldn't dissolve anything and could withstand the dishwasher. APK cleans well, no water is left lying anywhere.

Heat transfer is slow, making it a poor choice for melting snow with a cooker. Maybe ok by the campfire or summer cooking. The handle acts as a holder for the boiler lid, but be careful not to turn the handle when pouring. And none of this lightest is this boiler.
