At first my feet hurt because I had only been walking with bare feet. I put wool insoles on the Icebugs for warmth and it also softened the ride. The studs have held up well outside and inside. The last is suitable for wide feet.

Easy to put on, wide last, half a size smaller than my other shoes. The grip is excellent. These are already the third of the same kind, they are in heavy use when jogging with the dogs.

Grip is good, as always in Icebugs. The damping should be better and the rest narrower. The biggest minus, however, is the cold. Before, the Icebugs were warm, no more. Even in brisk exercise, you need extra socks even in the little frost.

Really good and reliable ice shoe. I took 1/2 of the larger size than normal. Good last and removable insole. A warm recommendation!

The Icebug Metro2 BUGrips provided me with secure footing on snow and ice. I was able to walk comfortably because the boots don't shift around on the foot due to the zip up feature. I love these boots!

Light, warm, good size matching, good grip on slippery ground and snow, water-repellent surface, slender and nice-looking. The only drawback is that indoors, for example in a shop, the pin base makes a sound.

Holds well in icy slush with ice underneath. On the ice I have not walked, but along the walking and jogging paths. The grip was good. Sure, I might be more cautious than normal, when the hand is already plaster, the period prior to the purchase of studded shoes. Nice warm, though the style could be improved.

Very shoes to carry

I love these boots! I love to walk in the winter but we have a lot of ice. I am totally relaxed and enjoying my walks with these boots. It has given me back my confidence. The added benefit is the boots are very comfortable and warm!

Wonderfully light, well-fitting studs. Tried similar similar brands in the past, these are definitely the best and keep their promises. I recommend!

I wear US size 7 athletic shoes; I can wear medium weight hiking socks and still fit in Metro2 Buggrip US size 7 comfortably. I feel Metro2 has good cushion and support. It’s a good design and well made boot. I’m waiting for a snowy and icy day to test the traction. My first overseas order and arrived less than a week, overall it’s very pleasant experience for shopping on Varuste.

Keep the pins and so clean that you can keep the city. The narrow stems have hard spots that rub against my bony ankles, but maybe the problem is more in my legs than in my shoes. Otherwise very comfortable, and the whole kept itching.

For a slightly narrower-than-average foot No. 38, it fits like a knock. The shoe does not rub or squeeze anywhere (which has been a problem with so many shoes). The joke of a few kilometers came to be made on lake ice. The grip wasn’t quite as iron as I had hoped, but it may be because I walk my legs naturally with a little outward ripping, which brings some sort of “squeaking” to the step. When I stepped twisting my legs straight, the grip was better and the purchase was quite successful from this one-off feeling. Watery ice tests then in the future.
