A good headlamp that would be even better if it came with a Core battery. The lamp is bright at its brightest setting (found in the gut intestine of a deer in autumn dark). I already own a couple of other Petzl lamps, and compared to the previous Core Tactikka, for example, the following things are better: by default, the lamp lights up in the dimmest setting instead of the brightest (why would anyone want the brightest setting in the dark first and dazzle?) And the colors are blue and green. for my part, it is the best color to maintain night vision while providing light where text or a map can be read. If there was anything I missed about the old one, it was the whistle on the lamp strip. I’ve never (thankfully) needed it, but in a situation where it could be needed, it can be much more useful than a lock that fully opens the tape.
Great low power headlamp. Suitable for jogging, dog walking, at night in a dark apartment as a light for a toilet trip or even for driving with a car on the road.
Very good basic luminaire. The spotlight is not point-like, but works well if you need a wider field of view. I get RGB colors because of the hunting use. The operating logic is good and easy to adopt. Should come directly with the battery, it's worth buying! Lack of battery star off! I recommend!
Would.ha given 5 stars if the core battery was included
Very good front end, a petzl That says it all ....
On the other hand, take the petzl battery rather than rechargeable batteries, it lasts longer
Very competitive price on this site, will recommend there
Worked perfectly for many years.
