The device was exactly as I hoped.

This is the third Oregon that I have owned. I use it for cycling mainly. I got this third one so I didn't have to buy new fixings for my handlebars and learn a new system. I am hoping it lasts a lot longer than my Oregon 600. This failed after a couple of years when the rubber on the two buttons completely degraded during a week of cycling in the french sunshine. The 700 sings and dances more than the 600. The battery life seems to be less. It takes AA batteries and I carry spares with me now. For all these negatives I still like the Oregon. I find it easy to use and I like the screen size.

It's the best Garmin GPS and they don't make it anymore. The current models are much worse because the GPSMAP66 has serious errors in the elevation measurement and the buttons are very awkward and the montana is a brick that is not good for hiking.

Pretty good hand plaster. There is already a third similar when you can’t stand a drop. It is best to have a screen that is brighter the more the sun shines.

The price-quality ratio seems to be right. Easy to use compared to my previous buttoned navigator. The included Terrain Map works well.

Battery life is poor for longer trips and the display is quite impossible to use in the sun. Relatively small size Plus by the way. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be any competitors for Garmin, so this is the way to go. National Land Survey maps necessary addition!

The user experience was positive before xTrex 20, compared to which a lot of improvement and the Terrain Map crowns asian.
