The belt is nice and practical, but the buckle is a little, a little too big for the loops on my Keb pants, which makes it difficult to thread in and thread out. In addition, the belt is quite long, I am approx. 85 cm around the waist and the belt reaches one and a half turns around me.

I would definitely recommend this instead of the traditional belt.

A really practical belt for hiking in that it sits very flat ( avoids rubbing from the backpack harness). The simple quick release on the buckle is a great idea. The elastic within the webbing makes for easy adjustments and a comfortable fit. I immediately changed the length of my belt by cutting the webbing and then sealing the exposed end with a hot flame ( seriously 1 minutes work). My only negatives which cost the rating one star were the fixed length ( I'm a very small size, hence the cutting to shorten the belt) and a slight amount of "creep" in the length of the belt when climbing in steep areas.
