I am impressed with the La Sportiva Otaki climbing shoes. Their fit on my wider foot is perfect and the shoes feel very comfortable to wear. Especially their ability to hold on the edges makes them excellent. Their comfort combined with performance makes Otakes a versatile choice for different climbing styles, suitable for both beginners and maybe slightly experienced climbers.

Good climbing shoes, but at this price you should. The heel design is really aggressive, take this into account when agreeing. Personally, when I agreed, I didn’t notice, and the shoe is left blank, and the edge squeezes the Achilles tendon. Hooking doesn't mean to succeed. This in itself is not a shoe defect if it fits the foot. I miss the last star mainly because of the price.

Great stiff shoe, with snug fitting ankle that wont slide and slip.

Amazing shoes, no cons so far, not too edgy, so feel pretty comfortable even during the long sessions. You could size down to make it more precious but then I would just get another shoes who are more into the competitive style instead. These are great daily drivers.

While looking for the first climbing shoe, I had to go through almost the entire range of the Equipment and surprisingly these aggressively curved felt comfortable on my shapeless feet. Thanks to the good grip, these dare to step even with smaller grips. Discreet on foot and I could buy again when they break down.
