Yes it is light and handy! Goes really convenient in air freight when you get to such a small size. And you can quickly open it while you like and run if you don’t want to use it all the time.

Very excellent and light rods e.g. for long distance hiking. A Tip Exchange would be a good addition. Prone to breakage at a locking point where there could be reinforcement.

I bought Black Diamond Distance Carbon Z poles for trail running. One of the poles snapped across the other terrain loop without much strain just above the lowest joint. I was amazed. For example, Lek's rods have a sleeve on the outside. This would have prevented the breakup. Well. A complaint has been made and it is now expected that the rods will go under warranty. There is reportedly no certainty about this. That was said in the store. The rods reportedly need to be examined first. I explained that these are new rods and the rods were not subjected to undue strain before they broke. Still, the rods went into "investigation." I was amazed at this too. If the warranty does not replace the rods, the extension of the warranty period does not matter terribly. But let's wait in peace now.
