They stretch somewhat with use, so when new you can pull them a little taut. I pulled it as tight as regular shoelaces and it was too loose.

Relatively easy to put on the shoe. Shortening into the child's shoes is difficult because of the disassembly. An attempt to melt the ends didn't quite work.

When there are those bumps then you can set the strips to stay at a certain tension and not move. This big difference compared to other elastic bands. Personally, I miss the toes and toes loose, a little higher, the pole comb, they succeed. I originally bought these for a person with a disability who is unable to tie the ribbons and the bright colors are invigorating. Shoes are also easy to name with these that take them where green ribbons, oranges, etc. There is no need to describe the shoes otherwise because disability prevents you from perceiving things. There is also a pair through the colors that there are no two different pairs of shoes.

An ingenious solution for laces for shoes if as lazy as I tie laces. A product that works properly. The price could be a little cheaper so you could replace the laces on all the shoes. Threading ribbons takes more time than normal ribbons, but it only needs to be done once.
