Use them in this wet German winter time to walk the dogs over the fields. Comfortable fit, good grip sole and no wet feet. Easy to put on. I can recommend these boots.

The Nokian Koli boot is so very comfortable, and the tread design provides excellent traction. I really like the way that the top of the boot can allow for heavier pant legs to be worn, and the it also facilitates easy on and off. Nokian boots, the best rubber boot. Period. Buy Nokian and help Finland fund that 1300 km fence along the border with Russia.

The boots have now been used and found to be excellent. The base is sufficiently rigid. I plan to use these shoes on a hike when the weather promises to be wet. These don't fit very busty feet, but they fit my type (long and narrow feet) perfectly. The ankle is suitable and the shoe does not slip on the foot. Excellent product. I recommend. It's also worth ordering big enough boots if you plan to leave wool socks.

Guaranteed Nokia quality! Sturdy and give good support to the foot and ankle. Fair sizing, a standard-sized boot fits a wool sock underneath without any problems. With the help of a strap that can be tightened, you can e.g. in forest work to make sure that there is no worse debris getting into the shaft of the boot.

Hi, I'm from Canada. I bouth same pair of these boots almost 12 years ago. I used to wear them a few hours a day, except the winter. I was absolutely happy with them, that's a reason I went for same kind again. Thanks Miro

I don't think the shoe is suitable for forest use. It works maybe on the road and when walking flat, but even a little bit of uneven terrain, so the shoe doesn't give any support to the ankle. The thick sole makes the situation even worse, that the foot crushes when walking in the forest.

Excellent hiking boots. They are suitable for any terrain - in rocky terrain they may lose to hiking boots, but in swamps and other wet places they are superior. As always with rubber boots, you have to choose the socks well, but at least the skin of my feet has remained in good condition when there are enough layers of socks underneath. After two hikes (more than 700 km in total), the bottom pattern is still in moderate condition and no leaks have occurred.

Boot quality seems good. The fit could be better, they seem really wide in toe area, and I don’t have a narrow foot. Maybe they’re designed to be worn with a heavy sock. The boots for me will be fine for gardening and fishing. I was hoping to hunt in them but they fit too lose for long walks.

First, these boots have a particular smell. It goes away after some use though. Now I have W (wide) feet, and I had to order these in a size longer than I usually do. Although there is a little more room at the end of my foot, the boot supports my ankle very nicely and doesn't allow my foot to just roam about anywhere. Of course, I have a little lift at the heel, but that's normal in my opinion. I walked in these, in forest paths, forest itself and on asphalt for the best part of 4 hours. I climbed down steep inclines to creeks, and back up. Not only did these boots not slip on any surface, even a muddy wet incline, they left my feet dry after it all. I was wearing a regular cotton sock with a thicker wool sock on top. This really secured my foot inside the boot. I had very little wiggle room. I could clearly feel the support the boot's sole gives my foot. To test them again, I went working outside for about 3 hours, giving them the business as I dug holes for trees, used various tools to get rid of rocks, stacked wood, etc. After all this physical work, my feet, who usually sweat a bit in most shoes, stayed dry still, and I felt comfortable to give the shovel the business with my foot with this boot at the end. What's also great is that even with a boot like this, I still have a lot of 'feel' for the ground I walk on. Overall, this must be one of my best buys so far. I'm glad Varuste exists, or else I wouldn't have even be able to get them. Never going back to "regular" cheap old rubber boots.

Expensive rubber boots, okay. By no means particularly good for a longer trip. Yes on these walks, but if you can choose, I will put other footwear on my feet in the first place. Another questionable issue is sustainability. It is already after three uses that look like seams that will go with a certain degree of warranty replacement. These do not last longer than one summer.

Price and quality meet. Really good on foot and supportive enough, self-employed in forest work. Like hiking boots that really hold water, the best boots which I walked. Now others are going. Due to the weakness of the insole, which is easily worn and the durability of the rubber compound, the previous boots cracked and punctured at the insole in four years.

Top leg sit wellies, what I have owned, the third couple are going, the first lasted for three summers and the other one decided until the summer starts to leak. Really good for the leg, the duration is not convincing. If they lasted a little better, they would probably be the best partners in the world.

A sole with a tight and firm feel. I have pretty stubborn calves and so far Koli is the only boot that goes comfortably over the calves so that there is still some kind of pants in between. Yes, these will probably be walked on day trips at least. The studs I was thinking about seem to have ready holes. Should be better with zero lengths and rhizomes, possibly also on rocks slipped by rain.

Not as good fit than tretorn has been for me, but otherwise feels like quality product. However, I would not buy now a new pair if in need.

The boot fits excellent at least on my own foot. The sole is sturdy and holds even in very demanding hiking terrain. The only downside is durability: the last pair of shoes I used last developed a leak at the seam of the sole and sole of the shoe on the inside of the foot after less than 200km of walking. The base pattern, of course, wears smoother; maximum kilometers for one pair I think 700-800 km, in a typical rather rocky mountain terrain. The size numbering is a little (half a number?) Tighter than its predecessor, the Trek Plus; I myself had to change from size 43 to size 44.

Fourth pair in a row going. In almost daily use, the shoe has lasted about 3-4 years. By then, the base patterns are already pretty smooth. You may want to apply a silicone spray to the surface a couple of times a year, maybe that will explain the duration. 1 pair is studded for winter slippery, works quite well in that job too. The stem should be a couple to three cents longer, otherwise it’s hard to come up with suggestions for improvement.

My best rubber boot so far. These have been used daily since purchase. Note! The whole system is really loose; The Viking rubber boots have a size of 42, so they sit on their pricks. These boots I bought in size 41, and the ‘room for growth’ is still half the size. The boots were surprisingly heavy anyway, but I got used to it quickly.

Good grip sole and fit on the foot. It feels durable, although I haven’t had much time to exercise yet. The shaft should be a little longer, as in the Finnjagd model. The tensioning mechanism of the arm is not quite the best either. But a fit and a good grip sole are important to me.

Good boot for woods and wilderness. Sturdy and good sole to walk. The shaft should be a little more so that the pants would not get wet in the wet grass. The seam opened on the 3rd trip from the heel of the other leg, i.e. presumably a manufacturing defect and hopefully will not recur.

Really well suited to the foot, the standard boots compared to a comfortable supportive, really firm sole and durability also good. After four years of reasonably active use, the previous Koli had been walked to completion and when purchasing new ones there was no need to even think about alternatives. Perfect shoes for my use.

Relatively wide last, so easy to pull off. Not as comfortable as Tretorn Sarek boots, but much easier to pull on and off. Quality seems good.

One size larger could be ordered if you want to wear with wool socks. The woman's leg was flat and her ankle was quite wide, but the ladies walked, although the heels were tired after standing for a long time. I wonder a bit if there might be something wrong with the other heel, because sometimes it seems to snap / stick and come off inside ... The shaft of the boot could be longer. And that's how it happened that after 4-5 uses, the second boot started to leak between the sole and the upper - the warranty boots were obtained 12/17, but you won't be able to try them until spring 2018 ...

I cannot recommend these boots to anyone. They simply do not stand up to use. The first pair lasted for three weeks in hunting use, after which both started to leak from the seam of the stem and sole. I got new ones under warranty, but I had to wait more than a month for them. During that time, winter came and the new ones were no longer useful. Well, I took the new boots into use last summer and they lasted a couple of months this time. Again, both solved from the same place. Now you have to throw that famous waterfowl with these. In addition to everything, the structure is far too loose for my foot. Able to walk at most on the road, unusable in rocky terrain.
An excellent comfortable boot, have had them for two years and feel really good with them.
My other two Nokian Boots are and feel just as good.
Nokian Naali and Nokian Kaira.
But unfortunately my Koli boots broke this week. Dry cracks. Unfortunately, it was not enough to lubricate them once a year.
