This sleeping bag is significantly different than any other bag I have owned. It’s made for warm weather and it may seem odd to use a sleeping bag when it’s hot out but this bag somehow is able to keep you cool at the start of the night while it’s still warm outside but then as the sun goes down and the temperature drops it also keeps you warm some kind of weird magic must be involved in the creation of this bag to be able to do that. It’s not the lightest sleeping bag, but it’s made extremely well and is a bag that should serve you well for a very long time unlike other bags that while being ultralight also are super fragile and only last a short time. I also like the zippers, they don’t bind up or catch on the fabric - just easy open and close. The stuff bag is also well built and is big enough to be able to get the sleeping bag back in it without a fight but can also squeeze it down significantly to save space. Excellent product, I highly recommend it.

Summer bag with mosquito net. When it was +3’C in the tent, it started to get cold (male 180cm/90kg) even though there was an R5 sleeping pad underneath and layers on. Maybe a little light for the early/late Finnish summer. The reliability of the zipper is a big deal. No fabric gets caught.

A really comfortable sleeping bag for indoors or as a three-season outdoor bag. 10C started to be a bit cold in the hammock, because the sleeping bag doesn't insulate well when flat.
The comfort is perfect, the zipper is very good. The mosquito net requires some kind of tuning so that they don't get through the net to get bitten, but it helps nonetheless.

Nothing extremely warm, but as a summer bag and indoor accommodation it does its job and with suitable clothing (= thick merino layer + marine socks) you can survive +10°C. Comfort +5°C then already requires full clothing. The bag is spacious for a normal-sized (183 cm / 83 kg) guy, so if you hate the "coffin-like" sleeping space of most bags, then this is the bag for you. The mosquito net is functional and at least I myself have found the "setting values" for the hood without needing a baseball cap or electrical wire adjustments made in the drawstring alley to keep the net away from the face.

good quality materials. a good sleepingbag for larger people, i can still move inside the bag. tested of few nights in summer: for 15degree night it felt a bit to warm.

Multipurpose bag. In addition to summer use, it is large enough to act as the outer shell of a down bag in winter to move the dew point to the artificial fiber and smooth out cold spots.
The mosquito net is an excellent feature if you sleep outside the tent or in a tent without a mosquito net.

Good sleeping bag, although a bit cold in Finland. With the merino wool layer above, this comfort level is 12 C according to the experience of a couple of summers.
The mosquito net works perfectly, and even better when you sleep with a top hat on.
The only thing that bothers me is that the zipper is on the side and not in the middle, but that's probably purely a matter of taste

I bought this as a summer bag and for cold weather as a companion to the Defense 4. The bag is guaranteed Carinthia quality. Nice wide shoulders and legs. The zipper opens easily just by pulling the bag open. The insect net is a good addition, although a bit uncomfortable without mods. Protip: It is recommended to thread (coated) iron wire etc. into the strips of the sleeping bag so that the insect net can be shaped away from the immediate vicinity of the face. If I would change something, I would add a small chest pocket for earplugs, etc. But even simple is beautiful.

A good sleeping bag for summer nights in the countryside or at the cabin. For spring and autumn, I would rather take Carinthia defense 4 or something similar. The mosquito net in the mouth sounds good in the text, but the execution could be improved. Using the net inside the sleeping bag is awkward and the net itself does not breathe as well as I expected. Otherwise, the bag is guaranteed Carinthian quality.

I bought this to use as a system with the carinthia defense 4. I'm 182cm tall, bigger sized feet, and broad shouldered. I fit very comfortably and can sleep on my side. It is on the bulkier side, but it is very good value for the performance and features it has. I had considered the Defense 1 instead of this, but found the D1 to be too tight and snug for my liking. It fits well inside the Defense 4 and there is good room to move. I am yet to test it in this configuration as I have not camped in Winter yet. There was a manufacturing issue with the bag, when the went to unbutton the mosquito net, one of the buttons on the collar was pulled out. I contacted varuste by email and was able to swap it for a replacement bag in-store. Great service from them! 5 stars for the value, but lost 1 star for the defect and overall bulkiness and weight.

Perhaps because of my short height, the sleeping bag was large, so there was space for my feet, which made me feel a little cold. So I additionally purchased a Carinthia windstopper. Although it is for summer, if you prepare a mat or clothes well, I think it can be used in late autumn in Korea. However, it seems that it will be a little hot in summer, so I will be able to leave a proper review after using it this summer.

I have used this in both summer and winter, down to a little below freezing. Was comfortable throughout most of the season, and paired it with a sleeping bag liner and good pad, and slept very comfortably even when it was below freezing.

My new favorite summer sleepingbag. I'm also anxious to try it out in the jungles of South-East-Asia when the whole COVID-situation settles.

Functional and durable sleeping bag for Finnish summer conditions. The zipper of the mosquito net coming to the face is really thin, so when putting it on, care must be taken that the seam, etc. of the sleeping bag does not get caught. Would have put a decent Kroko / YKK zipper on the mosquito net .. 4/5, quality game still!

I tried that March-April stage at minus zero limits with a hammock and an underblanket under the carpet, I got surprisingly well at the limits of freezing with light clothes on. Really soft fabric also against the skin, keeps the heat when you get it warm by lying down for a while. Price/quality ratio good 👌
