I spent a week on a free downhill trip, between the deck and the shell pants. Stays well in place when put tight enough. Warmes the knees comfortably from the wind, but a certain one can also sweat in warm conditions. Comfortable when kneeling on snow or ice.

The best knee caps ever tested in the field. Reccomended.

After a couple of days of use, it feels like a good purchase. Staying in place, protects the knees from both hard ground and cold ground. Are inconspicuous. May be short-lived in heavy use.

You can put it pretty tight not to spill, but they are otherwise a quality comb and the spill is also small compared to other brands.
