These pants are absolutely great! Incredibley durable, very comfortable and they are beautiful as well. For sure my favorite pants to wear whenever going outdoors.

Really well fitting pants. I went for the older model, since the 2023 model has soft shell lining between the legs which I figured might be a breaking point in the future. I waxed them with Fjällräven Greenland Wax and a fan, which worked smooth and easy.

Excellent winter trekking trousers

Well, these are just fantastic.

I'm 173 cm tall and have a thin body, but size 46 was perfect for me. The G1000 fabric is a tougher material than I expected, and with waxing, I was able to easily remove the dirt and grime I got from trekking after a rainy day. All pockets are strategically placed.

I ordered the pants for my very slim, very tall son who needs good outdoor clothing for his scouting adventures. Very few brands offer this size, but fjallraven offered the solution. I immediately ordered a second one. And a third for my husband who has a special talent; trousers wear out to the thread in just a short time. So far everything is fantastic. I bought size 50/regular, the legs are too long, I'm 173 cm/ 78 kg, a bit short, but I'm bum-footed. I changed the length to short, it's perfect. Good pockets, good fit, fits well under long pants. I would say that very good winter-autumn trekking pants. The knee and transom are reinforced, nice. For the summer heat, maybe some lighter ones are better.

Durable trousers for use in many seasons. Surprisingly comfortable! The only minus is a slightly unusual cut, e.g. The legs are huge in size 44 and correspondingly, size 42 is really tight in the hips

I've been wearing pants every day for about a year now, excluding the shorts weather in the summer and the freezing temperatures in the winter. The pants fit well and feel comfortable both in the office and when walking and cycling outside. The pants are moderately resistant to rain and wind. The pants have really good pocket space; gloves, beanie, handkerchiefs, keys, wallet and phone - all fit well in trouser pockets. The elastic button placket on the legs is a great feature when cycling; you don't have to push the leg of the chain side into the sock, but you can tighten the leg with a button placket. The trousers have remained mostly intact, only the pouch of the base pockets has been torn. I don't know if there's anything that can be done about it, because a stiffer pocket bag fabric could make the pockets uncomfortable to wear. I've tried to fix it with duct tape, but it's a very short-lived solution. The seam of the pants is torn at the crotch, but you can easily sew it back together. All in all, good pants that are suitable for both the race and the city.

Good morning. The pants are good, except the size which does not match. It's supposed to be 44, so my size and I can't put it on. I am 1m81 tall and weigh 78 kilos. On the other hand, I kept it, because it fits my wife perfectly, who is 38, 1m65 and 56 kilos.

Comfy. Find myself wearing them around the house because they just feel great. No stretch at all, be careful of sizing. 40" waist measurement and a 56 fit correctly, as per the sizing chart. High crotch, not a lot of room for the male parts, but not an issue when walking. It's actually more comfortable that way, keeps the legs from rubbing, which sometimes happens with lower crotches.

EU/US size mismatch

Best trousers I've had so far! Quite many pockets within easy reach and they have enough space for what you need. Tool pocket fits Galaxy S21 ultra with back cover. Any heavy content in the left thigh pockets will hit the side of the knee. Pants would benefit if the pockets were placed slightly higher. Boot hook is quite geniuous as it is turned outwards and will not get stuck by mistake. Pants are not waxed so make sure you pick up the Greenland wax when ordering :) Things I miss from my Haglöfs Rugged Mountain pants: carabiner loops in the front belt loops and a hanging loop in the back for drying.

Purchased in black, W38, long leg. These are fantastic and perfect for Australian weather. Knees can be reinforced, which is great for the dry stony ground I often find at camp. These were good pants. Been used for outdoor activities, fishing, outdoor work. lots of pockets. Breathe moderately well. On the downside, I would say that the circumference of the pelvis and the length of the leg do not completely snag the shape (the legs tend to be long). A light elastic in the pelvic region would be good. Since the waist is not elastic at all, you should choose the size carefully (I actually took a little looser). The braces are worth doing, so the belt is not squeezed unnecessarily and the length of the leg is slightly corrected.

The best pants What I have owned! Breathes well and dries amazingly fast. If something like that could have velcro fastenings on the waist, you wouldn’t have to hold the belt when walking with the backpack, but the snatch itself gets easily prey.

Good pants. No stretch fabric, so are mosquito resistant. There is no need for a knee pad pocket myself. There are enough belt loops, but a very wide belt will not fit. The legs have a lace hook, can be locked in hiking shoes. No experience with sustainability yet. The waxing opportunity can be a marketing ploy.

After 7 years of service, Viddat was upgraded with new ones. A positive finding is that over time, so much product development has been done that the leggings hook in the leg opening was turned upside down and better protected so that it no longer catches on the sock / toenail when dressed. Time will tell if the quality has remained at the old level. Good pants, no unnecessary elastic pieces.
