The air comes in nicely from the valve to the yard and here, for example, a hammock with a base blanket can fit well. I can't say the opening of the valve is particularly rigid in my own. Opened relatively easily when needed, even though the contents were already in the bag ...

A good vacuum compression bag for clothes, sleeping bags, etc. Gets stuff into a smaller space than with traditional string compression bags. A star away from the fact that it is not completely airtight and the down flaps swell during the day.
