Previously used by Meindl Taigat, I bought these as a slightly lighter version for hiking trails. The right size was easy to choose based on previous shoes. A suitable, slightly wider last, nicely soft on the foot from the beginning - as if they had been in use for a long time! The feet have remained dry despite having walked in the rainy forest and on the trails. Great purchase!

Keeps my feet both warm and dry without being too hot, unfortunately they do not really work for my feet which have problems with both the heel spur and the ankle, after a few km the feet ache somewhat extremely even though I replaced the sole. But my mother ordered the same and she can walk mile after mile in them without problems, so if you have no problems with your feet, these are highly recommended, otherwise it is probably better to check for another model.

The shoes look perfect but if you have a narrow foot and need shoes specifically to support your foot on uneven terrain then these have too much room sideways. The shoes also need to take one size bigger. Personally, I'll take the Banks next time. Not a swinging fin but stays like cement.

I took a size larger than usual. My foot is narrow, but I want plenty of space to spread my toes. By moving the shoelaces so that the lower soles are not tightened, it became airy for the toes with good support in the midfoot. I have weak ankles, but these shoes support the ankle well and I have not felt my Achilles tendons at all. It took quite a long time to get into the shoes, but now I can use them every day without my feet getting tired or sore. The shoes hold water quite well, in very wet terrain the feet still got wet. With good socks, the shoes are very warm even in -15 to -20 degrees. The shoes have good grip most of the time, but on a wet, fallen tree trunk they became slippery.
