At the factory, pack so that the fold comes at the junction of the sliding base and the blue. Must be folded into a container from the skin area. In addition, as the adhesive ages, the adhesion of the fold will break.

For the tip loop, gold is suitable for Madshus BC50 mountain skis, but the maximum flexibility of the ski tip makes it a problem to keep the glide part. When the tip bends strongly downwards, the gluing of the plastic part comes off the ski base and may freeze, after which it can no longer be caught unmelted - a tricky task in the open fell when the hairs are on the way, they have to be retrieved and not caught on skis until after melting.

Hopefully Madshus hasn’t stopped making these. There would be a need for new ones when the old ones have been used up. Are handy on stiffer snow when hauling a hawk - quick to attach and take off. Contrary to what the product description says, these go well with BC50 skis, at least for the earlier version of the model.
