Always a good product for Meindles with a membrane. Fairly soft wax, you should still warm this to the leather for better absorption. After waxing, the shoes are like new after careful work. I heat the wax, brush it on the surface, after it is absorbed, I heat it again so that it is absorbed and the areas that absorb more are waxed again. It is also good for metal parts. After a couple of days, it's good to thread the shoe, so the wax is in place.

No weirdness, just wax that seems to work well. Greased the new boots (Meindl Island brown / black) immediately when I unpacked them. The brown suede-like leather became markedly darker and shinier in color, almost black. Had almost thought to buy black wax, because I prefer black boots, but was not needed. It turned out almost as I wanted anyway.

I treated the new Meindlin Taiga GTX hiking boots first with Meindl Wet Proof and then with Sport Wax. Applying Sport Wax to the new shoes was pretty slow because I wanted to do the waxing as carefully as possible the first time. However, a careful first waxing was worthwhile: The shoes held the water well as the foot slid over the wide ditch a couple of times into the ankle-high water of the ditch.
