I get all kinds of tarpaulins cheaper. But; the price has never once nagged this Tarpp when tuning.
The tarp is of excellent quality and well finished. The fastenings, tensioners and lengths of the strings are thought of over the latter, as is the case with Hilleberg products in general.
Initially, the thinness of the fabric produced problems in the fell wind. Strong winds (eg in open fells) press a very thin, slippery fabric more easily against the ground than a thicker one,
if there are not enough support sticks / blocks.
This was a problem in the first erections when we installed tarp as a shed in the fell using only two hiking poles. Since then, we have embraced
new techniques in erection and tarpi does work just fine. All in all, a hoarse game, keeping the wind and rain away.
