Good, sturdy shoes.
The first more sturdy shoes, previous experience mainly with landing shoes and light hiking shoes.
For this reason, I cannot give full points, there is no comparative experience in shoes of this class.
I was skeptical at first, due to the size of the shoe.
Big toe on the other foot is always a problem, but this shoe comes with supportive insoles.
On the other foot, the insole is doing very well, the base joint of the toe is not bothering too much.
Very sturdy to walk on, gives really good support to the step.

I chose the largest size I could find on the list, 48. I wanted to have a spare wool sock, and this one has it (depending on the thickness of the sock). Usually 46 - 48 should be selected, depending on the manufacturer, model and stock of wool socks. The high stem provides support so that it doesn't slouch anywhere. Damn stiff, if you like that. Supports in bad terrain, those who travel a lot can find more comfortable ones. It feels and looks like a quality product.

The previous similar ones lasted 18 years, so I bought new ones without much comparison.
The shoe is suitable for your own hunting and hiking needs. The bottom is suitably stiff, just enough so that you don't have to dodge every pothole/ditch.
In addition, the last is wide and fits your foot. Good to walk. All-day trips are nowhere to be found.

I was disappointed that the shoe is said to have a very wide last, but the model has been narrowed from the former model. I now bought number bigger shoes than the former 16-17 year old shoes of the same model. Despite their larger size, the new ones are clearly narrower than the old shoes. There is so much difference that it is noticeably noticeable even visually and is also felt in the legs. And it’s not just about stretching an old shoe. Measured, the rubber sole of this new "bigger" shoe is at least 5 mm narrower than that of the "smaller" old shoe. In my opinion, the bog was also extended by the length of the shaft by a couple of cents, while there is a separate long-sleeved model for the same shoe. I’ve liked old shoes, but it’s a little scary if these “bigger” ones fit at all to fit my feet.

Great boots for soggy moorland and wetlands. Ordered to fit my broad feet they are a good wide fit, and if anything the sizing is a bit generous. My tip would be to order to your actual foot size and you'll still get thick socks on. Being full grain leather they take a good few days to break in, and the lacing pattern means you need to put a couple of locking loops in to ensure a zoned fit. Once broken in and laced properly they are great boots for full days out. I love the grippy rubber soles. Some soles can be treacherous on wet rock, but these give much more confidence.

Surprisingly suitable shoe for the foot right after the first use, a really sturdy shoe, even a bigger man can jump over the ditch in peace, at least the ankle does not twitch, yesterday I walked along the lake shore at maximum depth on a mushroom trip, and no water at all, I get full points.

The shoes were good for five years, after which the layer after the rubber sole, which can be seen in the picture, crumbled like pepper and the soles came off. The importer said the warranty is two years. The retailer said that the bottom had to crumble, with some EU legislation ?? Before the trip, the shoes looked like new on the outside but suddenly broke down on the trip. Meindel's shoes can be refurbished, but Viking's shoes do not have this. service. Otherwise, the shoes in very good condition with leather parts, soles and water resistance went to the rubbish, a pity.
I bought the predecessor model of this shoe in 2003 and still use them, so I have no experience with other shoes. So I can’t compare my shoes to previous or next ones I own. I'm sorry. Viking has walked countless fishing and hunting trips with its feet dry, without slipping on the bottom and without rubbing its feet. Commendable ski boots on all sides.
Purchased in the spring of 2008, ie turned 6 years old. These have been used for several weeks of hiking, numerous short couple night trips, and also used otherwise but in the terrain. In addition to winter touring skating. Gorilla membrane intact, feet do not get wet (except in summer hot sweat), blisters have not come. Satisfied in all respects, rated 5/5.
