Have used these boots with inserts for 10-12 years. Used for moose hunting until Christmas. Temperatures down to -25 Celsius. The best boots for hunting in a combination of marshes and cold. We hunt 90% of all weekends from 25 September to Christmas. 3 hunters are using these now

Being from Quebec Canada,i spend a lot of time hunting,trapping and ice fishing. Quality well made boots are hard to find. I had a pair of Nokian boots before and loved them,but now Nokian boots are not available anymore here. Varuste,was easy to deal with,i received my boots withing a week just before Christmas. I also got the Nokian Stud Kit. Easy install,but dont push too hard on tool,the stud will ten be too deep inside hole,making it useless on ice. Boots are heavy but comfortable.. Also got spare liners in the event i go through the ice. I recommend this model for ice fishermen ,hunters and trappers,they should last many years of abuse

Getting more specific. You should always have an extra pair of these, so you can wear dry ones whenever you want, and dry wet ones in the freezing cold while you're walking around on your backpack.
