An impractical widget that twists easily. A little alcohol can be injected directly around Trangia, which drives exactly the same thing. That way you don’t have to pay in vain.

The heater works as promised. Good purchase for cold autumn weather

Works well but you only need a very small amount of meths to burn for maybe 30 seconds, too much and you risk the meths in the burner boiling over and you have a fire ball, used with caution its a useful addition for cold weather but it makes the normally very safe trangia burner a bit of a liability so needs a little practice to use safely.

First time out today for the Trangia Winter Attachment. Such a good idea and so small and compact. Its works really well, as it pre-heats the main burner, and is more fuel economical. Yes, would really recommend this item. Even thinking of getting another for my Trangia Triangle.

Impressed. Cant get these in UK. I need a cold day to test properly hence 40cm flames in 11degC .........
