I got this backpack primarily for hiking and geocaching. I wanted a durable battery and preferred a non-touch screen model so it wouldn't get scratched by my dirty fingers. Hard off-road use, then. Those wishes will be fulfilled. I dropped two stars due to usability issues. The button menus are confusing and it took me a long time to learn to find what I wanted. Downloading broken data on the road is a bit like this. The device does not give an error message if the download is not successful. It just loads something and then stops. It's a guess. Even greater uncertainties in utilities installed on computers and mobile devices. Oikut has to learn in them too and work around the problem areas. However, it should not be the user's task, but the guidance should belong to the software. When the cached data is finally downloaded to the device, navigation goes smoothly. So I don't really regret my purchase. I would have just expected a better quality implementation, since it shouldn't be a cheap device for its price.

GPSMAP 67 works great, reception is very accurate.
