The first experiences seem good. Small size, touch screen sensitivity is good. The physical buttons feel a little bad when wearing gloves. The map data has been accurate. Definitely a good device for the price.

Polar m460 changed to this, because there was also a need for a navigation device that is more competent than a phone. Now you don't have to carry a backup power source with you, the battery is enough for several days of driving. The device's own map, like Garmin's, is mostly a bad joke, but the terrain maps and Trailmap's trail maps are easy to transfer to the device. There is no going back to using Polar and iFöön together!!

A good device for cycling. As a minus, I have to say that this product was not the best choice for me. The product was sold to me in such a way that I could have used this device also with the ride a motorbike feature. The device cannot find a ride a motorbike route and the necessary map must not be installed on this device for this feature to work.

Works as I assumed. It's worth setting aside time for commissioning and training, because synchronization with e.g. Komoot and mobile phone is possible, but it wasn't easy. The battery life is quite good.

There was a need for navs and a device that can be used to display basic information during the run. Runs his business really well. Larger screen than the 540/840 models. Training exercises are missing, but they were not important to me. Importing maps from an external application is difficult at first, but after a couple of times it works too.

Based on less than ten uses, the device seems really good, it does everything I need, works well and the battery lasts a long time. Trekking a route and navigating with a map trace imported from Komoot are what I use the Explore 2 for, at least both of those things have worked flawlessly so far. The touch screen works well, at least in the summer weather, and the user interface of the device also works. The rubber tire attachment gets things done, at least at the beginning. Installing updates and charging the battery is slow.

The screen is small and there are too many functions, but after learning for a long time some of them work. The best thing is that you can follow the map exactly while driving, and you don't have to dig out your mobile phone all the time. Spouse's location is shown on the map. Browsing the route with a mobile phone afterwards is also easy. As for accessories, I can recommend Garmin's rear radar, but not Garmin's lights, because their control with the meter is not comprehensible to humans.

Excellent price-quality ratio for touring cycling. The large touch screen is easy to use. There are only three sport profiles, but they are somewhat customizable. Synchronization with the Garmin Connect application is easy, but otherwise the Connect application is quite clumsy when it comes to preparing routes, for example. I prefer to prepare the routes in Trailmap.fi, from where you can export the gepsi tracks directly to the Connect service to be synchronized with the navigator. Targeted trainers or Strava hawks may be disappointed by the lack of training features, for them e.g. Garmin's 830, 1030+ or 1040 might be a better choice.

I used to have a garmin 530, but it has all the necessary functions, this is much more comfortable and simpler to use, a really functional device, now I'm satisfied. Of course, great service varustus.net🤟
