Hakusa had a safety device with which, if necessary, you can communicate outside of mobile phone networks while moving around alone. Messenger is well suited for that. The safety aspect seems to have been very involved in the design and productization of the device. Robust device, long battery life, interactive SOS alarm, free satellite connection test messages, easy-to-use clear user interface on the mobile phone + simple user interface on the device itself, etc. The satellite contract is flexible. You can take it for a month. The only small minus comes from the fact that the automatic check of possibly received messages rarely seems to work. You can do the check yourself manually. I recommend!

Not so great user interface and experience of both the device and the services such as MapShare that my friends did not find it clear to see my path and plan. The setup is not simple. To sum up: allocate time to setup and get ready days before your trip. Also, the optional Garmin insurance was not available for me (server error on subscription...) The good thing: Iridium communication was good though.
