With almost thirty-five years of experience, in my opinion, the only conceivable general purpose shoes from autumn frosts to the end of snowmobile weather. I use them for hunting, winter nets, ice fishing, snowmobiling, snow work, etc. The only downside is that the durability of the boots deteriorates over time. Just the best winter boot from Finland. Easy one, just grab a door handle and step into the boot. No red face caused by pulling on the boot. Fuxed felt lining adds xtra support in the shaft of the boot. For ice fishing, 18" height, who cares about the depth if the slush. Install NOKIAN studs for xtra traction or simply attach DEVYSIS Heel Stop to prevent backward falls.

The boots are just OK, almost as good as the previous ones acquired 24 years ago, which got a hole (already now!). Contrary to the information in the online store, the boots are not made in Finland. The ski bead is a "look edition" and the toe looks like a two-part assembly, unlike the old ones, where there is no noticeable seam. The feet are slightly asymmetrical. The rubber compound looks different than the old ones. Admittedly, the use of almost a quarter of a century could have changed the surface. I thought these would have boots for the rest of my life, but I guess I still have to get one. These hardly last for twenty-four years.

I just bought my third Nokia Tuura boot. I like the boots because they are easy to pull on / off the foot, have a reasonably good walk, and are comfortable and warm enough for the southern winters. In addition, after normal use, they dry reasonably well. Instead, if the boot is simmering properly, then it can take a couple of days to dry. The size is fair - my normal size is 43 but the size of these boots is enough up to 41, max 42. The only downside is that the boots last a maximum of 4-5 years without breaking. After that, the boot may start to leak when cracks appear in the steepest folds of rubber. Since then, I’ve revived the boots with Plastic Seal mass or TIP TOP spots. Now I ordered Nokian Rubber Conditioner and I don't dry the boots in the hot or in the sun to keep the rubber elastic and elastic for as long as possible.

I have had this model of boot since 1990 so there have been a number of pairs. The quality of the rubber is not what it was at the beginning but on the other hand the price has not skyrocketed so maybe it evens out. The fact that I have stuck to the same model for so many years says most. It is a shoe that is very large in size and you tend to step out the boot so that it becomes even more spacious over time. I normally buy 41-42 in regular shoes, but with this one I take size 40.

The quality of sturgeon boots has clearly deteriorated since the relocation of production to Serbia. I am already returned twice boots back Berner. For the first time, the ski beach was too narrow and the boots did not stay in the bandage and in the boots that came in place, the glues on the bottom failed and the layers came off.
