I first tried other shoes that felt like hmmm, shoes. Like the legs were tied to a mold. When the seller brought these shoes to try on, I wouldn't have taken them off my feet again. I'm used to walking in summer with bare feet or socks. Now I no longer wait for autumn with dread when my feet should be chained somewhere to protect from the cold.
These are not winter shoes, but the autumn cold has stayed away brilliantly. I bought shoes a size larger so that I can put an insole in them and maybe another wool sock will fit. I wish I could walk in these for a large part of the cold season, they are certainly not warm enough for freezing temperatures. But the difference to official barefoot shoes is a decent sole, which hopefully insulates a little more. The grip of the soles also seems to be very good both on wet grass and on slippery asphalt. A size larger than the number is fine
because the shoes are designed so that the heel stays in place anyway.
I treated the shoes according to the seller's instructions twice with a spray and finally with wax. I also got instructions from the seller to continue to treat the shoes with both spray (more often) and wax (less often). Treating the inner parts with hand cream also helps in maintaining the softness of the leather.
At the same time sturdy but flexible shoes where the toes are allowed to be completely free. Full five stars.
