Fantastic ride. I am an intermediate to advanced rider. Am older (mid 50s) but have been riding for 15 years. Was looking for a board that was relatively forgiving. I don't spend a lot of time in the parks, but get around the rest of the mountain from hard pack groomed speed runs to powder in the glades. This board does it all well. I am US-based, and ski both East Coast and Rockies. The Flying V has held up well in all conditions for me. Highly recommend.

The boots are wide, the fitting is good, but the they are kind of soft for their rating (stiffness 6). BOA system is easy to use.

— Show originalA good basic shoe for casual skiing. Comfortable on the foot and with 2 X Boa tightening, the heel can be firmly attached to the shoe. Clearly better than the Burton Motos I used before, but you can see from the small details (finishing, etc.) that these are not high-end shoes. Burton's small sizes make online shopping a bit difficult. I went to the store to try it on and ordered a size half a size bigger than normal. Good value for money when buying on sale. At full price, I would also consider shoes from other manufacturers.
