Well I had returned my Hanwag shoes -, that they leaked Received the answer that I could send them back. I did. After 1.1/2 weeks I received a message that it was a factory error. And I received new shoes. What a service, thank you. I am now using them on holiday in the Dolomites. No blisters. A 10, gentlemen. Thank you Thea Rousch.

The vavisenluu model really lives up to its promise, the shoe is wide as hell! I wondered a little what the point of making a tapered tip is, when the seam of the outer edge hits the little toe. Probably a matter of appearance. A leather shoe naturally stretches a little with use, and this has not become a problem. I ordered my standard size, and the shoe is just right for one sock. An additional wool sock requires a size larger. The insole is removable and I use my own support insole. To get there, you had to use your fingernail to scrape off a lump of glue from the inner sole. The inner sole looks like cardboard, but so far it is completely intact and clean, even though they are in daily use. The sole, which is softer than the Tatra model, feels like a sturdy sneaker. The straps are nicely thin and rough, easy to tie. Good buy, I like it!

Sturdy and fits my foot well. Even when new, they feel just as good as the previous Hanwags. I have never gotten chafing from these even on long trips.

Very comfortable boots, will be able to use it in winter and summer. At first I thought it will be heavy or bulky, but not at all. Very good quality! Recommended to buy.
