Good size and thickness. Nice soil and small roots did not penetrate. The package size is quite large and is not the lightest. It's a matter of taste whether you like flat or tubular, e.g. Exped synmat. Flat is more comfortable for me than the ground, but the higher edges in the tubular model give me confidence that I won't roll off the mat.
