Still new but very comfortable! I live in northern Ontario and decided to try the liners because it's winter. I am a size 7.5 women in Canada (5 in men's work boots) and ordered a size 37. I have to wear VERY thick socks for them to fit snuggly, hence I decided to try the Kaira liners. Hopefully, they won't be too tight.

Ordered these Monday at noon and they showed up at my doorstep in northern Ontario, Canada that Friday. Shipping was fast! Ordered size 43(US 10) in Finwalds with Kaira liner and they fit fine. I couldn't get the recommended thinner Haka liner. These boots perform best in my opinion with a liner but would be a tight fit to wear an extra heavy sock with the thicker liner. May be better after a wear in period or go up a size next time. I use these in mild winter, spring and fall conditions mainly and are a good walking boot. You can wear them without the liner but are loose unless you wear a heavy sock with a extra gel insole and support is not as good. My previous set lasted almost 20 years. Even with extra duty and taxes, they are worth the money if they last half as long. Time will tell.

Hello, I am completely satisfied with the rubber shoes I ordered, they are easy to put on and take off in the summer and well into autumn I use the shoes for forest work, the only downside is that the rubber quality does not really last, it starts to tear in many places and eventually leaks if you go into water, it would be good to have an improvement, the previous shoes lasted approx. 13 months just out of warranty.

The most popular Nokian boot in Canada and USA, successor to the famous RETKI.

Compared to the Sievi lightboot, the fit in the Nokian is loose. Number 43, which normally fits well, is really fair and without an extra sock, it's loose on the foot. The design of the heel is almost straight, so when you step, the sole of the heel gently rises up along the shaft.

Natural rubber boot to add a felt liner. I bought size 46 in order to fit the felts. I will start using them once hunting season rolls around.

from I knew the Nokian boots, I bought a pair in Canada, but they are cheaper with transport from Finland, exchange rate and taxes... Very happy, I wear them with a felt inside to winter in Quebec, hunting and walking. This pair, I took it with the studs for walking on the ice. See comment on the studs.

Good looking, good feeling sole. Haven’t been in heavy use yet, I don’t know how longer trips feel on my feet, I’m not quite sure if it’s good to walk a longer distance on my own foot. Appropriately long, passes through the woods without worries and without getting your feet wet. Slightly naphtha with felt lining from the calf, does not fit thicker pants inside the boot. Good shopping at least so far, hopefully lasting a long time and no joints or any fuss.

I wear NOKIAN Finnwald rubber boots for over 30 years (back in the days they were called NOKIA Finnwald). Since 1990 I have bought around 20 pairs and loved every one of them. I am a forester and wear them all year round in every condition and every terrain. I never had any better rubber boots whatsoever. So sad to see them disappear from the market :-(

Will buy the Finnjagd again next time. The delivered Finnwald are overall too wide and do not have any support function for the foot. Presumably they would be more wearable in combination with the additionally available felt liner. Therefore unsuitable as summer boots. It would be great if the wearing properties of the Finnjagd could also be had without the annoying shoelaces!

The second Nokian Finnwald shoes, the first ones lasted about three years. However, the water starts to come in with just over a year. No other rubber boots hold water other than its pair of max. However, the best shoes I review are during the spring-summer and fall-season. Good last, gets on your feet and off, even when wet. Adding socks as needed makes the shoe a pole. Cons: The ground should be stiffer, the base of the cell or outside of the pattern seems sole of the foot when walking longer distances, at least on a hard, rocky ground. There are no better ones on the market, the ankle narrow is ruled out, at least in my use. When hiking in the fell, other shoes support their place. One star off for rubber durability.

Received them here in Canada in a good amount of time. Clear communication regarding shipping etc. I'm replacing a 25 year old pair of Nokian boots and these fit the same which is a relief. Can't comment on durability yet but they will see a lot of use this spring. Great price! These are not easy to find in Canada. Very happy with how this all went. Thanks Varuste!

A couple of short forest trips in the back, no complaining. Surprisingly good grip on ice. A size 44 boot and a size 43 felt lining worked well.
[EN] After two short walks I have nothing to complain. Surprisingly good grip on the ice. Size 44 boot and size 43 felt lining worked very well.

I am very satisfied with the Nokian Finnwald product. I have been wearing these rubber boots when hunting for years. In contrast to other branded boots I tested, these boots are wide and designed just right for my high instep. Even after hours of use, my feet still feel very good.
I hope these boots will be available for many years to come.

1. Size Adequate and Available (50), boot models where large sizes are starting to be scarce. Several months had to wait, then when they came so qualified seem. Having gone hiking for a long time, the Finnwalds even felt like light rubber boots. Felt insole when feeling very comfortable.

Wellington boots tend to slip and slide at the heels for me. Especially oversized ones to accommodate a felt liner such as this pair. However, I found that this pair doesn't slip much, even when worn without the liner and with thin socks. Grip on wet grass and earth was phenomenal. On wet rock and tiles, I needed to tread with care, although I was not at any time concerned about it being slippery. I highly recommend it for the casual hiker, bird watcher and angler.

I have used similar Nokia rubber boots (both winter and summer models) over 20 years and still in good condition. I've used them at home in garden, woods and while hiking in Lapland (also some more rocky trails). I felt them pretty comfortable with good socks, so I did use quite a lot only them and some light shoes on breaks in a camp. They are probably not the lightest ones, but I can't compare them to others 'cause they have lasted so long so good :-D. Hmm... I think I bought mine newer ones in spring 2001.
