I bought these shoes primarily for 5-20 km trips alongside the New Balance Rebel v2. The shoes are well cushioned, but the feel of the sole is maintained. The feel of these shoes is considerably sturdier than similar shoes I've tried from Adidas or Nike. Instead of five stars, I give these four stars because, at least with thinner socks, the insoles of the shoes feel unnecessarily rough on the soles of the feet through the socks. No problem with slightly thicker socks.
