Great touring poles. Awesome upgrade from my regular aluminum hiking poles. Much sturdier and about the same weight. Love the locking system especially for spiltboarding as I can leave the pole at the length I want and ride with it collapsed and when required it takes 1 second to deploy to full length. Perfect. The basket is perfect for engaging heel risers and clearing snow just as described. Love them! Straps where also easy to remove!

Easy to collapse and extend, fairly light, but still a bit weighted at the end. Grips are great; super comfortable to hold and use in several positions. Overall, happy with this pole for backcountry skiing.
