The recent version of this footwear seems to be more robust than my earlier versions. Because of this I would imagine a longer product life, though I have satisfied with my previous purchases which I have used for any years.

Really comfortable to wear. The pattern of the base is very good in the terrain. A normal shoe number became appropriate. The insoles are slightly loose and move in the boot, may need to be replaced.

The first pair lasted about 5 years and dozens of uses a year when navigating and berry picking. In my experience, this boot may be one number larger than, for example, Kontio.

Brilliant. The last pair did 20 years sterling service. Looks like thee quality is still aas good. Next review, I expect in 2042??

My best hiking boots. Lesti fits my feet perfectly and they even run with these. Thanks to the use of a short handle and wool socks, it dries quickly. These have climbed on top of Kebnekainen as well.

The 15-year-old Nokia boots came to an end of life. They are size 43 so I ordered new sizes 44 that were way too small. Sizes have apparently changed over the years over time. I returned the boots, asking for a change to two geniuses, ie size 46. The post office has not yet brought new ones and I have not received any information from the seller about the new shipment, even though a week has passed since the return.

Boots meet expectations, are waterproof. You do need some patience when taking off the boots. Boots don't come off smoothly and some force is needed to get them off. But for the purpose I bought them for, playing golf on a wet course, they are fine.

I have had the previous Finnrtimmit partners for well over ten years and they are still usable. I have been a hard-working mover in any weather, even with partners on my feet. The companions have been good walks both in the woods and on the street thanks to their lasts and thus have withstood heavy wear. They are compatible with removable anti-slip devices because they stay well in place, so they make sturdy "loose stud shoes" even for ice. Loose insoles can be replaced with new insoles if necessary. I have treated my partners with silicone oil that keeps them dirt repellent and clean on their surface. Two socks for a partner, so no abrasions have occurred.

I have used Nokian Trimmi boots off and on since living in Finland 50 years ago. They are snug-fitting, lightweight and, of course, completely waterproof. I've used them for everything from climbing mountains in Scotland to orienteering to everyday dog-walking. They are great in mud (we used to know them as 'bog-trotters'). They tend to be generous-sizing ( I am normally a 43 in most shoes, but take a 42 in this boot). Excellent product, and excellent, speedy delivery.

Fast delivery, and quality. The boots fit well and run true to size. Excellent traction from the studded soles on the heather and peat bogs of northern Scotland. Highly recommended for deer stalking.

The size and product correspond to the product description. Light fuss partners where it's wet max. half of the lower leg. The piece base also holds well on a rock base.

There is nothing more to note about this purchase than the gluing of the inner lining in the mouth of the shaft was incomplete it had to be repaired a bit. I've bought over the years many of these pairs, and all have had problems with tension tape operation of this arm, and with sustainability. Clearly noticed when manufacturing shifted from Nokia, the quality deteriorated. The previous pair was the so-called segunda, There was a leak between the bottom and the surface of the second soap. I bought glue for it that was just applied to the seam. The surface rubber near the tip of the second boot broke and began to leak. However, this model is best for navigating the woods in a state of fitness when there is water in the terrain.

Convenient short boots. Sits on a very narrow leg. You may need a number bigger if you have a chest leg. A bit narrow and a low interest rate, so the grip on uneven ground is not as sturdy as one would like.

I have had over 10 pairs since the 1970s. Withstands super active use such as running in the woods, picking berries, fishing and yard work for approx. 3 years, then becomes brittle and bursts. Will probably last more than 10 years if used less frequently. Last Saturday, an active orienteer from Paris said that it took him more than 20 years. Another good feature is that it supports the ankles.

The first boots lasted the nipple button for two summers, the second one had a fracture in the arm, the second one cracked at the edge of the boot. I bought new ones. The boots have been on my feet twice and I just noticed that gluing the edge edging dangles from several points. The boots are really comfortable on the foot and agile in the woods, but the quality is really poor for me in terms of price.

Soft and flexible at the ankle and top. However, a good sturdy base. The ankle is narrow and thus keeps the toes off the tip without letting it slip to the tip downhill. Light. So really much nicer than the long-sleeved black traditional. A good choice for a narrower leg (i.e., a narrower model for the entire foot than that of a traditional black long-legged one, but the narrow foot still fits the same size). Really satisfied, a good choice in the woods!
