The bindings were easy to install on Peltonen Metsä Skin skis. The leather boots creak a little in the bindings, but otherwise feel sturdy and easy to use and adjust to fit.

Easy installation instructions. High-quality and durable bandages. Now a couple of short ski trips behind, Karhu Optigrip as skis. The ankle tightening strap sometimes catches the groin and the groin tightens the bandage. It is possible, by adjusting, to get the bandage in such a position that the above situation does not arise. Adjusting for different shoe lengths could be easier. In freezing conditions, the tool-free adjustment is sometimes quite tight, and sometimes it may not lock into the desired position right away. However, the adjustment is easy and durable. Tightening and loosening the ties is easy.

I am a big consumer of OAC ties, with about 200km of experience for my own use, they are worse than the older model. Fortunately, the better base with straps of the old model fits into the new, more sturdy base plate. Finally, note that for someone else’s use (i.e., a shoe), a new model can be much better than an old one, and choosing and adjusting a shoe is usually the exact thing to do if you really want a well-skied package.

The new type of locking mechanism is tight and the taps are clearly lower, but opening the ties is an art compared to the smooth opening of the older model all at once. The bandage that forms better on the ankle is good.

Very convenient (but only one day trip made in -15 degree frost), even the felt rubber boots with ski toe widening are in place. Also support sideways. The installation template is quite bad, you should check the locations of the holes at right angles, and the installation location according to the instructions may not be completely correct for non-perforated forest skis. The bandage also had a fairly high heel, but this was not a disadvantage when skiing.

The bandages are clearly easier to install (only three screws) than, for example, Fingrip bundles. Use is possible even with gloves on. The toe is a bit narrow for thermal boots in over 40 shoe sizes, so the boot doesn’t go all the way to the front.

A well-functioning, simple bandage suitable for many shoes. This bandage should be developed so that there is some support under / on the sides of the heel to prevent lateral movement of the heel. This feature would be needed if skis have to paddle on slopes. It would also help to turn the skis in the right direction when coming down the hills.
