The Barbour Beasby Was Jacket has been an excellent purchase for everyday life. When well waxed, it withstands damp weather and works well as an autumn/spring coat. If necessary, you can get a thermal vest that can be connected with a zipper as an inner lining, which expands the possibilities of use even more. You should check the size carefully, because in my opinion, Barbour's Size Chart is one size smaller than they suggest. XL is more like size L, etc... The jacket has a good number of pockets, but not at the expense of style. The ventilation zippers that can be opened on both sides of the back hem are a nice addition. A very durable jacket for years/generations to come.
