After a few kilometers of forest runs with varying terrain, it's ok, but by no means wow. The previous boots were the slightly more expensive Viking Trophy High boots. They clearly had better support for the ankle, at least for my foot, and the grip was maybe a little better. However, they started to leak after half a year from the seam, and I took the money and not new boots. Before that, I was disappointed with Tretornes, they wore out in less than a year and broke in the front between the shaft and the footwear part. So let's now try "domestic" options after other Nordic ones. Do you find it difficult to purchase comfortable and durable rubber boots?

Reasonably light boots suitable for summer use. The bottom seems to be suitably stiff, although I have no experience of walking on a rut. The boot supports the ankle and prevents the boot from tripping. Depending on the terrain and the length of the hike, hiking shoes, landing shoes or these boots are selected as shoes. The difference between hiking boots and landing boots is mainly breathability and weight.

They fit perfectly on the foot, not unnecessarily loose on the foot, good patterning on the boy.
Now another similar one is on its way, the durability is questionable when the previous similar ones break at the folds of the foot within a couple of years, on both feet in the same place. The wife's boots, which were bought at the same time, also broke in the same place at around 3 years old. There is no way to fix it, no glue in the world will stick to the material for only a moment...
When browsing the Internet, it feels like there are no decent durable boots anymore, that's just because these are good to wear. And if you don't need rubber boots in the rain or in wet conditions, I guess you can wear these for longer than a couple of years... The price would require a slightly longer life cycle...

A perennial favourite boot for hunting and hiking. Excellent tread design, good ankle support
The footwear is the only real rubber boot for my feet. The sturdy sole in the boot supports the foot when walking on soft terrain. However, the grip is good even on rocky terrain. The material of the boot is durable and won't break the next year. The only negative thing about the boot is that mud and other loose matter easily sticks to the bottom of the boot and travels with them into the interior.

Price and quality have met. The size is exactly the same as the usual classic model, but you have to remember that it is a tighter model at the ankle. The socks didn't leak once in the shoe during a hike of about 70 kilometers. I recommend it for a hike with mostly wet terrain.

Best rubber boots in the world

Good boots. Over the course of a few weekends now, I've walked at least ten kilometers on a deer hunt in a variety of terrains. Even though I have a narrow foot, the boots fit quite well and there have been no chafing. The lace fastening on the back of the boots is good, although a bit challenging to use.

They fit the foot well, the stiff sole was good on uneven terrain and they hold. It remains to be seen how in winter use on slippery stones. However, the surface "dimmed" quite quickly, but there were no major abrasions, even from the tracks of snapping branches on my trailless forest hiking trips.

It feels very good to walk in the terrain thanks to the stiffer sole and I like the narrow model a lot because you can easily get the stem under the shell pants. The natural rubber gives way and flexes a lot, which I also like, the ankles get an effective workout. Just take the size you use anyway, because these have a small margin.

The boots are slightly more spacious compared to the size, similar to how the sizes were in the past. I used to use a 43 but have been allowed to use a 44 for the last 30 years. I took a 43 for these and they fit perfectly. Nice boots, I hope they last, which cannot be judged in this situation. Fast handled order.

Three pairs of used Finnjagd shoes, after a couple of years of use, start to leak from the fold of the shoe. Taking off the shoe is difficult due to the tightness of the ankle. Otherwise, the shoe is rotationally rigid and the sole is hard, you don't feel the stones. There should be room for improvement in manufacturing (manufacturing defects).

The rubber boots have been just the way I hoped. They work both for longer dog runs and for yard work. For such a wide-bodied person, it was a pleasant surprise that boots larger than their own size were just perfect. There is a grip (we have a hillside plot), and I give a plus from the drawstrings.

Great fit and traction. Lining is comfortable and finish is great. Use anywhere where it can get wet and dirty.

Since I have W (wide) feet, I looked at this pair of boots because the width matched my usual sizing. I really wanted the Koli, which I ended up getting anyway, albeit in a size larger. Now right off the bat, I could tell these were a little less fancy than the Koli, but they are just as good. I've only worked outside in these boots, sometimes for hours at a time, cutting wood, working the gardens, etc. My feet stayed dry the entire time. Of course after a few hours, the tip of my cotton socks were starting to get a little humid, but otherwise, dry. My feet never hurt either. This is the purpose I bought these for, to work around the property, and they do a great job so far. I wear a cotton sock with a thicker wool sock on top, to really minimize the wiggle room and keep my feet warm, and it does great. I still have a lot of 'feel' for what I walk or climb on. I was a bit concerned with climbing a ladder with these, but they really came through. I could feel the steps and had zero problems. Overall, this is a great buy. I'm glad Varuste exists, or else I wouldn't have even be able to get them. Never going back to "regular" cheap old rubber boots.

Long lasting rubber and good fit!

Great wet terrain hiking boot. It is more of a pull on / pull off boot then step in / shake off ( like the Kontio ), holds the ankle well. Great traction on the muddy / slippery terrain, up or down. The vibram pattern sole holds better that the chevron ( zig-zag ) pattern of Kontios or other boots - that is why I got them - not disappointed. True to size, works well with medium-weight sock. Roomy around the calf. The lace up adjustment works ok - though not that practical as cinch strap in other models. No nonsense looks - i.e. practical - not a fashion boot.

Well-fitting foot, narrow at the ankle, dries surprisingly quickly, it can even run, relatively torsionally rigid, with a firm rough base pattern.
Domestic handmade product, domesticity should be appreciated !!! It really has rubber, which is no longer in many boots.
Well on the downside; everything sticks to the bottom very well :)

Fit is good and snug, real rubber boots makes a big difference.

Well-fitting boots. The previous Finnjagds lasted 20 years with a few patches. These are a bit more watery-feeling material, so they hardly last a few years longer. But the last and the walking feel are excellent, and the heels are flexible, so the boots are also handy to pack in a backpack.

The boots have a comfortable fit on the foot. The bottom seems sturdy and works well for cross-country walking. The high base pattern also provided grip in the snow for walking without slipping your feet! The shaft is shaped at the ankle and narrow anyway, I liked it! The size of the blade part corresponded perfectly to 39 no. The best for me!

I'm currently using the shoes for a few days of hunting. They fit my legs very well. The narrow ankle part of the shoe comfortably prevents "limping" in the foot. The stems also sit on the lower leg appropriately, the thick calf may even be narrow. Good-feeling shoe, durability remains to be seen in use ...

A boot that meets my needs.

The boot has a good and firm sole. Adjustable upper arm, helps keep rain outside the boot. So far, a good option for full day trips. Currently, the third pair is going because good on foot and unfortunately that model is starting to leak from the heel or elsewhere in the seam, i.e. it withstands well the urban nature trails but not the harder wear of the perpetual nature walks.

Having worn out several boots, the best support for the ankle, and it can handle even 0 wind and cold weather if you're on the move, you need a winter rubber boot or extra socks when you're standing still.. 9 month rubber boot in my opinion. Good and rigid base.. works, I recommend ..

I ordered the shoes in my own size and they were a bit bigger than expected, but it could fit a pair of wool socks. Wonderfully soft sole and I like the drawstrings! The only downside is when the boots sip on the foot when walking in difficult terrain, hopefully take shape in use.

Finnjagd fits perfectly on my feet and are good for walking. For 12 years, not a single bladder has entered my feet, unlike before, when I walked in hiking boots, when I always had to have compeeds with me. The only bad thing about Finnjade is their duration. Once upon a time, a couple of years have not been leaked. Every other year, the shoes are guaranteed, so the price per year and in relation to the amount of use remains the same.

The shape of the Finnjagd was no longer the same as my previous Finnjagd boots, which were excellent and lasted for many, many years. Now the tip was lower than the previous ones. The material was also looser, but whether it’s worse or better - it was left untested due to the changed last.

A simpler boot than the koli and probably not great for long hikes but a good price for an all round boot.

Good last for my narrow legs. Excellent grip, long enough shaft to cross even deeper rivers. The boots have been on my feet for about half a year, doing fieldwork as an ornithologist, more than any other footwear. I've used a half-dozen boot model but I like Finnjagd myself clearly as the best.
I bought the boots, the second year of the boots. The return worked and I got new ones instead. I put it on and thought I'd try it right away on my home shore, before I go to the borehole. It was laughable, another pair of boots leaked like a sieve. It's a shame, but the build quality of these boots is completely inferior.
good boots!
