This came to me completely empty, so out of interest I tried how it then charges from the sun in Finland during the exceptionally sunny days of May (helathursday tienoo). For six days it was outside, not always in direct sunlight, but very many hours per day nonetheless. In that time, the leds in the charging compartment finally showed 2/4 and it was a rainy day, so I moved it to charge from the mains and I got full in about three hours. Solar charging is therefore _very_ slow! The red charging light did still burn in the evening in fairly low sunlight and when I tried it even through the glass of the terrace, but the charging speed can be really bad. There is probably a use for this on trips, where you take it with you charged and then charge a smart watch or headlamp and maybe in an emergency a cell phone, plus you constantly try to charge it to full again, but you shouldn't count too much on the fact that, for example, you can use and charge a cell phone on long trips . The device seems sturdy and well made (e.g. waterproof), and it's probably easy to carry around in hiking conditions.

Now, after less than a year of use, the solar panel does not work. You can charge from the mains, so it no longer functions as a power bank.

A convincing solar charger, but in practice quite heavy (large battery) and charges solar electricity very slowly. The online download is also slow.
