Sorry about the pun, but overall, it's a bit of a mixed bag. That said, the pro's outweigh the con's and I've used it on one trip and will use it on future trips again. The good: it's big, like, really big. The materials are excellent, the stitching solid and the concept mostly good. The weight is OK for the size and versatility, but it isn't exactly ultralight. The not so good: The inside compression straps are at best useless, at worst a nuisance. I will be snipping those off soon. It would have been nice to have a simple, light shoulder strap for cross body carry instead. It would also be nice to be able to securely stow the carry straps when in backpack mode. Would I buy it again? Yes, especially at the price I got it for and with the speedy shipping provided by this shop. Your mileage may vary.

Very light, certainly suitable as a short-term addition when traveling. I didn't trust the thin material to be used as a full-fledged piece of luggage and preferred to use a stronger competitor.
