Very solid binding- performs well for skating and skiing. I prefer these over standard bindings

These bindings are amazing. I’ve skied Nordic on NNN BC bindings for decades while also skiing both alpine and telemark. While NNN BC bindings are great for most conditions, they lack the leverage of a telemark binding for had driving turns. These bindings, mounted on a pair of Fischer SBound 98’s and skied with Alpina Alaska boots are absolutely the bomb for moderate depth untracked BC Nordic and for the deep stuff they are amazing on a set of SBound 128s (old school, removed a set of tele bindings to mount these and love how they float and turn).

I really like this binding, the classic Nordic skiing motion feels really comfortable.

I like the binding. It's light and has been trouble-free so far. It also feels quite secure despite being light. They are mounted to SBound 112 skis and using I'm using a Crispi Futura Pro boot. I have been using the standard flex bumper and the ability to drive the inside ski isn't great but fine for mellow terrain. I just got the hard flex bumpers and will give them a try next time out. The bales of the hill climbers are difficult for me to flip up. I have to use the handle of my piles at just the right angle to pull them into place.

These bindings bend as easily as the NNN but give more edge control than a three pin cable binding. They are also really convenient to step in and out of.

good product but it's difficult put the ski and the bumper is cheap material

Good quality and easy to mount. Not used yet, no snow in England

Excellent binding. I am pleased with the downhill telemark performance, especially compared to the BC NNN binding. I also appreciate how easy these binding are to get in and out of. I highly recomend this product for cross country skiing on varied backcountry terrain.

It’s summer in Australia so sadly a review is not possible of the binding but I do hold high hopes for a great telemark experience when the snow returns.

Wonderful new Backcountry binding. A clear step up from bcnnn with increased stability and a simple clean design with few places for snow buildup. My only gripe is cost.

This is my 3rd pair on a 3rd set of skis. Ran the first set for a year, great binding and no issues to date even with salt water exposure in spring conditions to the original pair. Spring loaded system on boot held up great so far as well, despite the salt.

The new Rottefella Xplore BC Offtrack Binding system is top notch, I mounted them on a pair of Fischer S Bound 112 and they rock. For telemarking the wider stance is like night and day to NNNBC. Finally for me stability, wider ski wider bindings. When stepping into these bindings it can be a bit finicky. You have to make sure the snow is cleaned underneath the release mechanism. Just takes a little getting use too. Still have great kick and glide and the snap up heel piece for accents is a really nice touch. I would recommend this system to anyone who is serious about having fun. Mark British Columbia, Canada

This is a great and marvelous innovation to redefine backcountry tour ski using soft shell boots. The leash system is to be redesigned as the leash cable is to short.
