The measurement of the fat percentage sometimes goes to the top. However, I already knew this based on the reviews beforehand. On the other hand, this is acceptable because it is only a body composition measurement made through the soles of the feet.
"Waking up" the scale from sleep mode requires a rather strong tap on one of the upper corners (ie where the toes are during the measurement). This is not actually advised in the instructions. I was already surprised that the included batteries were weak. It also seems that the awakening cannot be done several times in a row, which also added to the confusion at the beginning.
There was a significant adjustment in the deployment with the system update. It certainly wasn't an automatic process in my case. The application prompted to update after activation. I tried to do it according to Garmin's instructions "manually," because the device didn't do it independently. The manual update always stopped after the first step. I had to reset the whole device in the end. It was not instructed in the accompanying instructions. After a reset, and before deployment, the update finally went through.
Two stars out of full.
Now, after the initial adjustment, everything worked flawlessly. Morning and evening weights are easy to follow from the application. The other values (hydration, fat percentage, bone and muscle mass) also seem to stay in line, they don't fluctuate too much, so in principle you can follow the development from them as well.

Nice and high-quality appearance. Easy to use. Accurately measures weight and automatically syncs to Garmin Connect.
The downside is the fat percentage measurement. Looks like it hurts. At first, it seemed more than 10% too much to me and seemed to take the value only based on the body mass index, ignoring muscle mass. Fortunately, today you can use Connect to enter a separate measurement result, which you can rely on in your measurements in the future.
Without it, completely unusable for fat percentage measurement. Even after that, it seems to follow mostly daily weight fluctuations.

Hi, When measuring body fat percentage, or rather, it looks like the scale calculates it, because it corresponds to the corresponding body fat calculator in the US. At the same time, I've done control measurements (Omron, etc.) and in terms of fat percentage, I've gotten about -10% lower results, the other indicators are comparable in the same order of magnitude with all three measuring devices.
Resets and more done.

Versatile scale with a functional connection to the Garmin Express training program. The scale is a good complement to other Garmin devices. In addition to fitness-related data, weight data, indices, fat, etc. percentages are conveniently transferred to one's own website. Weight tracking and graphics viewing is easy and convenient. The scale is likely to be usable even without web linking, although quite expensive for this purpose.
The scale has a high-quality and durable feel. Also looks sleek and neat.
