Original review in 2021: It's hard to find shoes that fit my foot: the foot is long, tall, wide at the front and narrow at the heel. I have found my best shoes so far in the Inov-8 fitscale 3-4 models, but even in them the latest models have felt worse than the previous ones. Now I found an almost perfect shoe in the box! While still in the fitting phase, I was afraid that this might be too tight, but in use it has proven to be good for my own foot. There is space in the front and at the top (no more fiddling with laces), but the fitlock keeps the feeling from the side snug without rubbing. Really long distances yet to be tested, but for all basic runs at least this is excellent. -- Update in 2022: There was a hole in the bottom of the old ones, where stones remain. Well, I then ordered new ones, since they had been so good otherwise. The same size as the new model was clearly far too small! When returning them, I heard that VJ has made "minor model changes". Really sad. I even tried one size bigger and it didn't feel so good either. Originally I gave full 5 stars, now I have to drop to 2 stars, because they became unusable for me now :(

The soles didn't last very long.

I bought these to wear as my everyday shoes. They look exactly as I expected out of the box. They’re extremely lightweight, which is perfect for everyday trips to the store or work. It’s winter here now, and the lugs have been excellent in the light snow we’ve had. They’re not the most comfortable shoe I’ve had but they are definitely comfortable. I ordered a half size up and the fit is perfect. Overall I’d recommend them.

Easily the best running shoes I've ever owned. My first trail/ultra running shoes, though, so my comparison is mostly about basic sneakers. The grip is absolutely amazing even on wet trails and rocks --- it even took a bit of getting used to when you're used to basic running shoes. It works both on asphalt and on a forest path. Thanks to the solid shock absorption, there has been no trouble in the knees, which sometimes with basic shoes take on themselves from running on a hard surface.

I switched to these from Irock 2s (so I went from extreme to extreme). It's nice when on longer trips (15-20km) the tree roots don't hurt the soles of your feet anymore. The damping is very good, but the feeling is nevertheless snappy. On wet rock, the grip is excellent and loses to the Hoka Tecton-X shoes that I use in the same type of running. The best trail running shoes I've ever run in.

excellent shoes in terms of grip, materials, cushioning. Personally I could consider them the best trail shoes if the space for the toes and the fit were further increased. I took one number more than my number (as I do for all running shoes) but it's a little too accurate.

Very comfortable and easy to run, but in technical terrain it does not fit the foot quite as well as, for example, the VJ Maxx.

Special shoes. The short ilt means that the recording cannot be taken to all the tape holes, but it has to be "stopped in the middle". Otherwise, the skin is broken on that top. You have to tape your feet for every run. In addition, the nails of the front toe are hard when running, even though the shoe is just the right size. The nails of the front toes really hurt after long runs. I will not buy other similar shoes. These are used with Leucoplast for the final threat.

Unfortunately, it didn't fit my foot. The insole absorbs water when wet and turns into a sponge.

I bought these shoes as a replacement / variation for the Hoka Speedgoat I used before, because according to the seller, these were the second most damped shoes in the range. Based on initial experience, these are multi-purpose sneakers suitable for even longer distances, which combine damping, grip and precision in the right proportions. A special plus for lightness!
