The stepless adjustment is good, but a bit slow and always adjusts in the same direction. That is, you can only get to the dim side by going through full brightness, if you weren't already going in that direction before, and vice versa. It would be better if the direction changed every time. The lighting of the second LED is done by the tactile switches on the sides of the lamp, in which case the lamp also goes to maximum power. It requires a simultaneous touch on both sides, but still the brightness may go to full just by correcting the position of the lamp. A mechanical button would be better. The lamp requires an odd number of AAA batteries (3 pcs), which is inconvenient because batteries and Eneloop batteries are usually sold in pairs or in batches of 4, and the chargers are designed for an even number of batteries.
