Easy to carry around the gas canister upside down and when using makse a big difference even blocking out wind blowing away the flame when you don't have a burner/ pot with heat distribution system.

A smart addition for windy conditions. Just the right size to fit around most liter pots when packed, so it doesn't really take up any space in your backpack. Of course, this is a bit more "weight-bearing" if you're used to foiling or going in front of the wind yourself.

A very welcome, light and functional wind protection. Stays well in place and fits conveniently around the MSR 1400ml titanium kettle, so it doesn't take up any space in your chest. It works with that 13.5 cm diameter pot and there is still a little space left on the edges. The best protection is obtained with a low-profile burner. MSR Pocket Rocket 2 still works ok. Recommendation for this one. Works.

Very handy wind protection for small pots for screw-on canister cookers. In cool weather, heat the gas bottle to help vaporization, in hot weather, it is worth making sure that the gas cartridge does not get too hot.

Works like a knock off Primus LiTech Trek Kettle and Pocket Rocket Deluxe. Packs outside the aforementioned pot in the same bag. So it doesn't take up any extra space. Because it attaches to the neck of the gas bottle, its size does not matter. Beats the foil tunings, although it weighs more than them, but 87g is not terribly heavy.

Functional, easy to use. Hituse remains low when used with the Pocket Rocket 2, but does not seem to hinder operation. However, Optimus really fit in as Crux's friend. Fits like a fist to the eye as a friend of the liter Primus Litech Trek kettle. Practically does not take up any extra space around the boiler in question, so fits with this boiler in the boiler's own packaging bag.

I haven't found a wind shield of this style on the Finnish market for at least two to three years, so it's nice that this is in Varuste's selection now! This wind shield packs up around the gas bottle quite nicely when not in use, but maybe I expected it to be packed/folded somehow even more even without the gas bottle. But it's still useful!
