Hello I tried these shoes on a hike in all types of rocky conditions, mud, snow, 20 cm thick, ice crossing streams... I specify that I had well adjusted gaiters. Result at the end of this seven-hour walk, my feet were dry. My opinion: I don't regret having invested in this pair of shoes, good grip, the gore-tex liner has fully played its role and pretty colors!

Good shoe, compared to most other approach shoes, the sole is really high, if you have the slightest tendency to roll your ankles, then take shoes with a lower or wider sole, because with these, the ligaments will definitely scream for help if you have a previous problem with sprains.
